Beautiful Family-Friendly 1600 sq ft House in South Anchorage.

The house is 1600 sq. ft and well-kept, located in south Anchorage. IOne of the safest area in Anchorage. Few minutes to town center and maybe 6-7 minutes from and to the Airport. Only open for VRBO during summer time which is around May 25 till August. All three rooms and two full bathrooms are in the upper level of the house. The living room, kitchen, laundry, and half-bathroom are located downstairs. Once you wake up in the morning, you can cook & eat breakfast outside on a beautiful 12x24 deck. You can also cook your favorite dinner outside with the new barbeque grill while watching the beautiful Alaskan summer sunset. Flattop, a very popular hiking spot as well as a beautiful place for sight-seeing and taking pictures, is about 15 minutes away. Right outside the neighborhood is a jogging trail across the street.

For your personal needs, shopping malls and restaurants are located a few minutes away, while a big grocery store, Fred Meyers, is just across the street. They are a complete store containing a bank, electronics, clothing, Starbucks, and even a liquor store. Costco is also a few minutes away. To name some restaurants just minutes away: Olive Garden, Red Robin, Smashburger, Seward's Folly Suite 100, Gallos, Village Inn, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Subway. A Thai Siamese cuisine is also nearby. For those who enjoy the outdoors, stores such as Cabela's and Mountainview Sports are accessible in a few minutes.

Downtown Anchorage is about 12-15 minutes away. Once you're in town you don't necessarily need a ride - you can just walk and explore. For a list of activities to do, you can check the Visit Anchorage building. House is DISINFECTED before and after checkout of guest. AIRCONDITION!!!!no need Alaska temperature is just perfect inside/outside.

Nice clean house with all the necessities. If there anything you need you will find it at Fred Meyers right across the road. It is only Minutes away from the airport and many other places. Host was very hospitable and I would stay again.

Overall a great place and the most helpful owner you could ever ask for lemy was awsume and he had plenty of various supplies to use plus a few extra delicious surprises. Thank you lemy!!! Fred Meyer groc store across street several good restaurants close by the lil dipper Cafe is a must for breakfast it's the best. We will use this place for our next adventure home base in the future

Great home in Anchorage

This home was as advertised. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of hot water. The home made salmon dip from teh owner was delicious! I travel with a group of 5 adults so it is really nice to have room to spread out and be comfortable. The table on the back deck came in handy. It was really convenient to have a grocery store right across the street. It was very easy to get around all of Anchorage from this location. Communication with the owner was very easy. He even offered us a late check out on our last day since he did not have guests coming in right away. I would definately recommned this home if you are planning to spend time in Anchorage.

What a great visit into your home. We all felt welcome and wished we stayed longer. On our return from the concert, we noticed a white truck that was parked in between your house and the house on the right about 11pm. We had to swerve around it to park into your driveway. We didn’t think anything of it but thought it odd that a truck would be parked partially in your driveway. Upon returning the rental car, the agent pointed out that the car had been side-swiped and left white paint on the rear passenger side of the car. Would you, or any of your neighbors, have video cameras that might have recorded this if the incident occurred in the neighborhood? Thank you so much for your hospitality. Stephen

Wonderful Home from which to Explore Alaska

This house is ideally located in Anchorage and is beautiful and comfortable. I don't know if the owner is always so generous but we had a good deal of food in the refrigerator and access to the liiquor cabinet. I hope to get the smoked salmon dip recipe from the owner.it was delicious. Even if our food and drink were late season and not always provided you can not go wrong with this home. Shopping and groceries are across the road at Fred Meyers. Many restaurants are within a few blocks and the drive to downtown Anchorage is less than ten minutes on your choice of two freeways. This is a five star find for anyone who needs a home away from home in Anchorage.

Expect the unexpected

The house was beautiful, I rented it because of the garage but it wasn’t available which when I went back mentioned parking not garage. I understood and then there was a note on the TV upstairs that stated to use the one downstairs, Now I feel like a kid who is told you can only watch one television in the house, that wasn’t on the listing. The half bathroom downstairs door wouldn’t open so it was of no use. There were clothes in the closets so I felt that I wasn’t supposed to hang anything up as there were clothes in the drawers also. For a week I lived out of my suitcases and because it was supposed to sleep 6 you had to read between the lines to get everything that was or was not available. The listing was not clear. I spent a lot of money for a week and wasn’t given all that I was charged for and I didn’t see the owner offering anything back either. My advice is read the listing and ask tons of questions because if you don’t then you’re just going to give your money away. The owner was nice but a lot of thing weren’t forth coming.

Ismael is a great host

The house was close to the airport and lots of shopping which was great for us as we were buying food and supplies for our trip and for a wedding. The house is comfortable with a nice small back deck. Ismael has a Keurig and stocked it with lots of options. He even left us a nice treat. Beds were comfy.
