Beautiful property - very close to Roaring River State Park and only 5-10 minutes to Walmart and Restaurants. Super clean, beds were very comfortable and the cabin had everything we needed. Hope we can come stay again soon!
This is such a cozy place to stay! Everything was super clean and super private. Check in was easy as she just asks that you respect her property, no partying and clean your dishes before you leave.
The property was beautiful and was exactly what the wife and I were after. Plenty of woods to hike with the dogs, quiet except occasional highway noise, and very pet friendly.
We'll be back another time for sure
Perfect for a family getaway! We needed to get out of the house for the holiday, and this was a great change of pace! So relaxing and enjoyable! The place is as good as advertised! We loved the screened in porch in the mornings and campfire in the evening. Bedrooms were great -nothing to complain about at all! We went to Roaring River State Park (5 min drive) for hiking, fishing, and eagle watching. We were very impressed! We plan to be back in the spring/summer for more fishing! This will be the place we stay!
Everything was great. Only problem was instructions for checking in were sent while driving to the place and I had no cell service when I arrived so I couldn’t download the instructions. Maybe send check in instructions day before
Our experience was really wonderful, Kim was so very helpful and we loved the place! The screened in porch was where we spent most of our time though there were plenty of outdoor seating options and fun things to do indoors as well. We will be back, definitely recommend!
Great quiet place to relax in between our fishing. Kim was respectful and understanding throughout the stay. We were very comfortable and would stay here again.
This property is exactly what you see. Kim Marie greeted us within it seemed like a seconds to check us into the property.
Although It is VERY close to the highway to go fishing you are nestled snuggly in the beautiful forest and do not see or hear anything. Our favorite part was the screened in porch. We spent much of our time there drinking coffee and enjoying the peace and beauty.
We were looking for a place close to Roaring River Campground where we had family staying. This was perfect! Just five minutes away. We all slept great. Owner lives upstairs. She was easy to communicate with and even provided some other cooking things we were needing when I asked her about them. The place was very clean and comfortable.

Liked: Cleanliness, communication, location
Disliked: Check-in
Definitely different/ NOT bad.
Didn’t not expect a duplex with anyone above. No, issues just different. The suite was clean and comfortable!
This is a poorly insulated walkout basement with water damage. When we weren’t listening to the owner and her dogs from the main floor, we studied the bathroom ceiling thinking surely the very apparent water damage would cause the sagging tiles to break free and soak the concrete floor. If the property was disappointing, the owner’s attitude was shocking and offensive. Despite the extra fee we paid for our animals, she was “shocked” when we showed up with our three small, well-behaved house trained dogs. We had to explain to her that we completed all of the info requested in registration and by her as we prepped to come. She was rude, insulting, and not welcoming despite the fact that she’s peddling a water logged basement for rent. We left shortly after arriving and would not recommend.
My wife and I attended an area family reunion, sharing the two bedrooms of this rental with our niece and nephew. Each bedroom had an outside entry and the shared living areas were spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed our evenings together, with flexibility to retreat to our private spaces when needed. The setting in the woods was beautiful and while the weather precluded spending time outdoors, those areas were inviting!
This property is perfect if you want to be completely secluded and outdoors in the woods. Even though our cabin was the lower part of the homeowners residence it was still a very nice stay. She gave us complete privacy and was quick to text back with any questions or needs.
If I were to summarize this cabin I would say it’s more like Glamping in the woods! If you love the woods you will love this place!
This property is in a great location if you’re looking to relax, or spend time at Roaring River. Communication with the owner is excellent and the home is very comfortable.
It's a cute place, its kept up well. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Large common room with ample space. Internet/Wireless was surprisingly fast. Modern finishes/fixtures. There's a kitchenette and a grill, but no stove or oven, so we mostly ate out or prepared meals that didn't need cooking.
Totally quiet outside, save for the sound of road traffic. On the inside, its the basement level of a two story home, so you can occasionally hear movement/TV/talking above, but nothing major. Owner has a few more properties on site as well.
There were a couple of bugs that made their way in, mostly crickets and millipedes, but it is surrounded by forest, so not surprising.
All in all, it would be a great place for a couple or family to stay at. Its next to Roaring River State park, about 35 minutes from Eureka Springs, and 1 hour from Branson/Hollister. I'd stay there again.
Great place to stay close to Roaring River and town

Why they chose this property
This House sits on 30 acres with another house and three Glamping Sites. The property was first purchased and developed ( put a road in with a well and cabin) by my father and mother in the early 1970"s. Year later the other house was built by them. The little home I now refer to as the Dogwood Cabin in memory of my mother as that was her favorite tree they even built the deck around one to safe it. . . it was our family vacation home when I was a young girl.
What makes this property unique
This place was built with love of the woods and nature in mind. People are amazed at the feel this house gives one of being one with nature with all the windows over looking the hill sides through the trees. And being able to truly witness the seasons this part of the country offers. In this suite that is 1500 square feet I named each room after trees . . . . Both bedrooms open up to a patio area they share. And the Entrance from your parking space, opens into the Living Area is in from a lovely Screened in Porch.
