Wonderful stay in Topsham
We visited friends in Topsham and so we looked for an nice place to stay. The loft has everything you need, espiacially the kitchen is so well-equipped. The interior design is stylish and modern, with so much love in every detail. You can eat in the kitchen, living-room or on the deck. Both rooms are very spacious and there are many closets to store your clothes. The bathroom is like a little spa! Check- in and communication with the owner is super easy. We got a welcome box und felt at home the minute we arrived at the loft. It is the perfect place to spend your holiday and to explore that region. There are so many things to do and see. Thank you for that great experience.

Excellent Accomodations in Great Central Location
The Loft at Augusta Road is just as pictured in the ad. It seems brand new and extremely well appointed. The two of us were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much. It is between Route 201 and I-295 so there is quite a bit of road noise, meaning we could not open windows while we slept. The trade off though is the Loft is very well situated with easy access to main roads, highways, restaurants, shops, and coastal attractions. All in all it was a terrific value and we'd stay again.

Great place and great concerts
The Loft everything we needed even a First Aid kit and welcome to Maine gift. Anytime we needed to contact the owner with a question we got an almost instant replay. Plenty of fun things and good restaurant nearby. And lost of brochures of places to visit and things to do to keep us busy. Bowdoin College had plenty of concerts to attend and the Main State Theater is on their campus.

Excellent Place
It's a very nice place in a great location. Very clean, the owner was friendly and very communicative. If I were to nitpick, the beds are a little hard and the TV is starting to die and will need to be replaced soon. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed staying there and would certainly consider staying again

Lovely loft
We had a wonderful stay! Picture windows throughout the loft display a burst of ME fall colors. The loft is warm and inviting with lots of natural sunlight. The wood floors are beautiful and create an added warmth. The location (Topsham-country) is approximately a 10 minute drive to Bowdoin College and Brunswick Maine St. making it very convenient and close to many wonderful hikes and views on Harpwell Island. The owner takes great care in her properties. Everything is new and up to date. We will definitely be staying again.

About the host

Hosted by Lisa Coombs

Host profile image
Our family of three (Lisa, Bob, and 11 year old, Acadia) lives in the beautiful coastal fishing town of Harpswell, Maine. We love to travel to Costa Rica during the winter. The biodiversity, wildlife, and culture are a few of what attracts us to this small, but rich Central American country. We anticipate our annual vacation to this warmer climate during Maine's winters.

Bob, a well-known local builder, designed and built the Winter Street Rental with simplicity in mind, splurging on some amenities that we consider to be important. We love to cook, so we incorporated a full kitchen, wide open to the living area. Maine winters are long, and bright indoor spaces are a necessity which was the inspiration to add large windows throughout. With over 30 years of building experience, he realized that wheelchair accessibility was something that was missing in the rental community. Bob built this unit so all could enjoy, even those with mobility challenges.

Lisa, a five-time national Olympic-style boxing champion and coach, left her career as an Environmental Health and Safety Director to pursue personal boxing training and be more available for six year old, Acadia. She operates The Boxing Studio located in Topsham, where she offers personal training through boxing to improve fitness and build confidence.

Acadia, named after the magnificent Acadia National Park, has her own egg farm along with a collection of other farm animals. She loves all things outdoors, and spends a lot of her time at her farm and playing with her cat.

We enjoy being outdoors, hiking, traveling, farming, and being out on the water. We love hosting because we meet so many wonderful people in which many become long-lasting friends who we look forward to returning each year.
