About this property

THE 39-1: AT THE FOOT OF THE CITY, GARAGE, WIFI

Charming studio of 30 m² renovated in May 2017 50m from the ramparts of the city. Old elements: parquet floors, exposed beams and tomettes.
It is located on the ground floor of a typical Carcassonnaise house, in one of the oldest streets of the city: the Rue de la Gaffe, overlooked by the ramparts of the City of Carcassonne. The Rue de la Gaffe is almost pedestrian because only local residents drive there in summer. The district of Trivalle, in which is the house, is the most pleasant of the city.
The medieval city is directly accessible on foot.
You will still be quiet and can believe in the countryside listening to the song of birds and the sound of the bells of the nearby cathedral.
You are also close to all amenities: restaurants and cafes nice neighborhood, grocery store, pharmacy ... and 10 minutes walk from the Bastide Saint Louis and its famous market.
The linen is provided (bed linen, towels and bath, tea towels).
A parking space is reserved for you in the big garage of the house.
A common laundry room is at your disposal (washing machine, dryer and ironing equipment, vacuum cleaner).
Pets allowed with my agreement only.
Baby chair and cot available on request.

Charming little flat in a great location

We loved our stay here- it was in such a beautiful location which added to the atmosphere of our holiday. The flat is small but perfectly sizable for a couple. We had an issue with entering the property as the lock seized-up and we had to call to find a solution. Bertrand answered promptly and was very friendly and easy-going which alleviated our worries and he quickly sent a locksmith over to let us in. For something which could've really sent a cloud over our stay it was handled so efficiently and we were very grateful. My only complaint of the flat was that there wasn't much natural light to enjoy a meal at the table- but we very happily made food and had a delicious picnic by the walls of the city. Much more memorable! Everything was clean, the shower worked well and the water was hot. Couldn't ask for much more. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Nous n avions pas été prévenu que nous pouvions ouvrir la barrière pour pouvoir entrer la voiture nous avons du transporter nos bagages. L appartement et mignon sauf le sol pas propre et le matelas très fin mal de dos obligé. De plus un couple est arrivé 2 jours après nous à l etage je n aime pas être medisante mais prétentieux oh point de venir taper à notre location pour que l on Bouge notre véhicule pour la place la plus grande alors que les véhicules étaient aussi grand l un que l autre Renault 5 places et nous c4 Citroën. Enfin sinon notre séjour était sympa.
