Super stay! The unit was cozy and well-supplied -- morning coffee was fantastic and we loved that there was non-dairy creamer provided in the fridge! Location was amazing. We were blown away by the view of the lake and the bird activity in the morning! I saw at least 10 different bird species (including a beautiful Baltimore Oriole, Red-Winged Blackbirds, Ruby-throated hummingbird, Flicker, swallows doing acrobatics over the lake and more). Off the beaten path but well worth it for the peaceful atmosphere.
Awesome stay beautiful lake view, always friendly hosts highly recommend

Liked: Location
The area is very nice, beautiful and peaceful. We wanted a private gateway and planned to have the premises to ourselves (based on the description and pictures). However, when arrived, while the initial walk through was thorough and detailed, we learned that the hosts are staying in the same house, behind the wall, so you don’t rent the house, only the part of it (with 1 bedroom). That was not what we expected (again, based on the description and pictures provided on the Vrbo website).Overall, if you embrace or don’t mind sharing the house and enjoy socializing with the hosts, this place may be for you. It’s just it did not work for us.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I do not think we interfered with your stay, and if we did by saying hello, that is simply who we are. We found you all to be excellent guests and hope you have better luck finding your next stay. Be well and travel safely.
My daughter and i really enjoyed our stay here. Kevin and tami made us feel at home and we loved swimming in the lake and all the nearby hiking options. We would stay here again!
This cabin was just as advertised. The cabin was very clean, and all you would need for a comfortable stay was included. I very much enjoyed my two days there.
We are sorry if we did not meet your expectations. Please provide additional feedback as we are always open to suggestions on how to improve our place.

About the host
Hosted by Kevin
I am retired and have taken on the new duties of Innkeeper. Tami is a licensed massage therapist, and we are both avid hikers and outdoors people. We enjoy meeting new people and we are happy is you choose to stay with us. We keep the house comfortable and clean, and keep in mind that this is a lake house with most activities taking place outdoors. However if you get rained on, we have lot's to keep you entertained inside as well.
