Relax at this four season cozy lakefront cottage.
In the summertime enjoy your private dock and wrap around porch. Fishing and swimming from the dock. Kayaking and boating also permitted. Second story is accessed with ships ladder. Wake up in the master bedroom to breathtaking views from your private second story balcony.
In the winter enjoy ice fishing and cross country skiing trails. Also there are many nearby snowmobile trails.

Lovely getaway

We stayed at the lake house for about a week and had the most lovely time. The lake is so relaxing and was quiet and chill which we needed. The house itself was perfectly sized for the two of us, perfectly cozy with plenty of space to relax. Loved chilling by the dock and on the porch just looking at the lake.

Wonderful Retreat! Close to Bing!

We loved our time in this lakehouse. It is steps from the lake with its own dock and kayaks and a canoe and a rowboat, and we were in heaven! The porch was lovely! The living area and the kitchen were fantastic and spotless! Having to deal with thousands of students at graduation, I did not want to stay at a highway hotel where the windows don’t open. I needed decompression and beauty and this lakehouse was so close to Bing and exactly the scenic getaway we needed. However we didn’t know we couldn’t drink the water there. We are big water drinkers so this is something I think people should know in advance. But now you know! Bring water. Also we are not getting any younger, (60s, both of us), and the ship’s ladder up and down to/from the bedrooms was not simple especially in the middle of the night. So do consider that when booking. Also the ride up from NYC was harrowing the last 20 miles or so — if we’d known we would have gone to Bing first and traveled to the lakehouse from there because that route was lovely and easy. I want to say how fabulous it was to be able to leave graduation and the crowds and drive 15 minutes to the lake and be out on the water in a kayak for the afternoon. Truly heavenly and worth every cent!

There’s a balcony and a porch to enjoy views of the lake. The kitchen is well equipped. Comfortable dining/living room. Access to bedrooms is a challenge due to the ship ladder.

Serene Lakehouse

We really enjoyed our stay at this lakehouse. It was a peaceful place to enjoy a winter weekend getaway. The house was very clean! Use of the on-site boats in the lake was nice for adults and kids traveling with us! Host was very responsive to any questions we had ! Will likely return again !

Lakeside Cottage

Very cute cottage with two bedrooms/1 bath. We had a wonderful time visiting my son during Family weekend at his college. It was so nice to bring him to the cottage and have a fire outside and chat vs staying in a hotel room. The views of the lake were so calming!

Lake Laurel

A beautiful property with a great porch and an awesome dock. Kayaks provided brought many smiles, as did the water mat and the paddle board. I just wish I had known that there was no air conditioning. That was the only downside to our trip.

Amazing summer weekend stay

My wife, 2 girls (age 2 and 4) and I spent Memorial Day weekend at this cottage. The cottage was perfectly clean and arrival was painless. The property and cottage were beautiful. We loved sitting and enjoying the view from the front porch most of all. The fishing and kayaking from the dock was incredible! My girls caught about 20 small bluegill from the dock and we got a number of nice bass and pickerel too. Staircase took a small getting used to, but got the hang of it. :) House owners were very kind and supportive via the messaging app. Will stay again.

A delightful stay!

We spent four nights at this charming lake cottage and we had the best time! It was myself, my husband, our daughter and our 8-year-old grandson. The cottage is cozy and clean. The deck overlooking the beautiful lake was large and a wonderful place to drink coffee in the morning, listening to all the different birds. The dock was perfect for fishing and we caught countless pickerel, perch and blue gills. Our grandson would wake up each morning and run to the dock with his mom and start casting his line! We will definitely book this cottage again the next time we are visiting the area. We highly recommend it!

Quiet lakeside writing retreat

I decided to stay at this property due to it being secluded but not actually too far from the town. The home is right on a great little lake with a dock and available use of the water. It was too cool to use the canoe (October) but definitely plan on staying at this location again and would love to go out on the water next season. The place was decorated for the fall and was very clean. Treats were left for me which I certainly ate during my breaks between writing. All the modern amenities you could want including a smart TV and high speed WIFI. 2 spacious rooms and did I mention the gorgeous view from the first floor wrap around deck? There is actually a second floor smaller deck to take in the views off the main bedroom. All around wonderful place and very quiet. Great communication as well.

Amazing Lake adventures await!

This property is perhaps my favorite vacation rental I’ve ever booked. The lake is so QUIET—no motorboats, and very few others out most of the time, it felt like we had it all to ourselves! The number of water “toys” the hosts provide were more than enough to keep us all active and having fun every day. I am admittedly not one who loves a “sit and relax” vacation, but my husband is, so this property allowed us to both do what we wanted—I could go kayaking several times a day, and he could sit on the dock! The house has everything you’ll need for your stay—the hosts recommend not drinking the tap water, but provided plenty of safe water in the fridge. We bought groceries in town on our way in, and did not need to leave again for a thing! Thanks Andrea for a wonderful stay for our family! We are already ready to come back next summer!
