Our loft was just as advertized. Beautiful pool and garden out back. Our Host Marie was very open to suggestions on what to see or where to dine. Definitely need a car as the town not that far but aways to travel by foot. Marie helped us hook up with a rental car and a travel tour guide to Panama city which was great. Thanks for making our first trip to Panama a wonderful experience. Greg & Eileen

Great location, very helpful host

Would have like a more comfortable eating area..the bar setting was not the best. We stayed for 2 months maybe most people don't stay that long.The backyard pool was so great..an oasis in the Panama heat. We were golfers so very close to the course..great!!

The loft experience

The front of the property is a bit dismal...no photo of the construction sites in the listing. The loft is visually appealing. However, it is extremely hot due perhaps to all the large windows/patio doors. We were asked to only use the AC for 15 minutes before bed & then just use the fans provided and open windows/doors for a breeze. Unfortunately, the breeze did not blow in those windows. We were uncomfortably hot while in there the entire 2 weeks. & needed AC to sleep. Just not enough when listing says there is air conditioning. The hot water was off everyday sporadically but manageable. It is awkward cooking in the unit due to lack of counter space & only having a small bar sink for dishwashing...dinner plates do not fit. There are outdoor cooking facilities, in our case, to share with another unit. It is a little awkward as this unit requires going up & down a spiral outdoor staircase to get in & out. We left a list of 8 constructive improvements with the owner. The pool area is beautiful but used by 3 units & the owner. The beach unfortunately has no shade. The owner lives on site and was informative & cheerful. She also operates a small transportation company which we used for airport transfer, a day tour & trip into Panama City. A car is really needed in this location otherwise you are restricted to a poolside vacation for a lot of the time.

Guest Review you left with us prior to leaving; saying just how much you both enjoyed being here, with the Loft and Guest areas being exactly as shown in the site pictures with the recent updates, saying how clean and beautiful the new Guest areas, pool, terraces and Seaside Loft was- How appreciative you were to find it. Thank you. as you saw, the property renewal process is in the final phase now. It is Panama. It was wonderful meeting you both also - here and seeing you again further afield in Boquete - You were so appreciative. Watching you both enjoy each day having such fun - relaxing poolside, swimming in the pool, BBQing, mingling with others, venturing out and exploring the local area eateries, community events, the markets, attending yoga workshops, enjoying the beach area, the city, taking buses and planes. Seeing you so happy, smiling and yourselves relaxed and at peace enjoying your holiday in the Tropics. Yes- the weather here is warmer than many places. In Panama one must be relaxed and flexible to enjoy this country at it's finest - It does have it's lifestyle adventures - " the quirkiness". as you commented when here. As you found and you mentioned below in your new comment critique , climatizing and adjusting to the lifestyle takes some time - and it is not for everyone.
