The living and dining area are an open floor plan, the wall facing the water is a large sliding door that opens out to a private deck. There is a sofa bed in the living room that opens out to a full bed.. The main bathroom has a newly tiled stall shower. The attached in-law unit has a twin daybed and a bathroom with a stall shower, a recliner, and a murphy desk. Prices are based on renting the main part of the house as a one-bedroom, one bathroom. We enjoyed our stay so much... we're coming back! Sharon was very accommodating, and the property really fits our needs. It's on a busy street, but we didn't mind. We loved being able to walk to restaurants and a great coffee shop. The sunsets from our place are great, and we used the kayaks provided to get out on the bay. We cooked in a lot, and the property is well stocked with all the dishes and equipment we needed.

It's time to get away. Kick your feet up and go. No disappointment here.
We stayed in Room #6 and all I can say is this room is over the top. Everything in there was perfect. Great outdoor view of the bay. Owner Sharon was always available if we had questions. Wish our stay was longer but will definitely stay here again in the near future. No disappointment here.

My parents purchased this property back in 1999, it was used as a family spot for many years. After my Mom passed away in 2009, we stopped coming together as a family here and my father began renting the cottage out. I was a Chiropractor, with a practice in Los Gatos, Ca. After the birth of my daughter, I moved to Florida to help my Dad out with the property. We fell in love with the area and purchased a home in Bokeelia. When my father decided to sell the property, I purchased it from him in 2016 and have continued running it as a rental property. My family and I enjoy time here a couple of times per yet, but I enjoy renting it out and allowing others to experience the beauty of this area. I am a wife to an amazing husband who is a journeyman plumber, and the mother of a beautiful daughter. I am blessed to get the opportunity to continue the journey my parents began when they purchased this property.
Why they chose this property
This property is unique because of where it is located. The sea wall faces nothing but mangroves and water as far as you can see. It is protected land, so there will never be development out there. There is no boat traffic, it is a quiet, secluded area that the wildlife enjoys as well. Providing for wonderful sightings of native birds, manatee, and dolphins, among other sea life. Its location also provided a gorgeous sunset almost every night.
