Nice cabin only issue was a regular double bed we are used to sleeping in a king bed so it was a little tight but overall a very nice and comfortable cabin
Cabin #4 was beautiful and so cozy. We were there for the weekend and the view of the lake was spectacular. We did not spend a lot of time there, but we saw deer, the lake and the community was quiet. Very close to anywhere you want to go, but it far enough away for a peaceful stay.
Staying at cabin 4 was my first vacation ever, it was clean and beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and I felt safe the entire time. I was down there for about a week and had a very relaxing time.
Just wanted a low-key get away. Perfect for what we were looking for. Was nice and quiet. We also enjoyed the steak house next door too making an evening less hustle and bustle to get somewhere.
We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, beautiful view, and the entire process was very seamless. The accommodations were excellent and the property very clean. I definitely recommend.
This is just the sweetest cottage? (We stayed in number 4) my son’s and I stayed 5 days. The location was convenient to local caves and HaHa Tonka State Park! Communication’s with the owner was great! I would and will stay here again! Also, the restaurant near by is a great attribute. Thanks so much!
Location is close to so many things to do in Osage Beach area. Area has a nice overlook view of the lake. Relaxing to watch the sun set and the boats go by from above.
Cottage is remodeled and nice. Very cozy and pleased with the accommodations.
Owner was great to work with.
Thanks again!
We would recommend Old Swiss village at Osage Beach. We stayed in cabin number four for 3 nights it has everything you would need. The cabin was clean and cozy , Bed was comfortable.. The lake view was awesome . Michael’s restaurant very close walking distance . We would definitely stay again .The host and property manager were great.
We really enjoyed the cabin. I would have liked to see updated information about the area (every thing was from 2019-2020). A place in the shower area for soap and other essentials would be nice.

Very welcoming. Great view. We will return.
Thank you!
It was a great little cottage, my only cimplaint is communicating with the host. I tried to leave them a message and couldn't so i called 3 times and left a message and there was no call back.
I cannot thank the owners enough for having this cottage available for rent. It’s absolutely a perfect little getaway for relaxing and enjoying the lake and sun. So much attention to detail in supplies and decor. The outside sitting areas are perfectly place for full enjoyment outside.
We never felt that we could not get assistance if needed. The owners communicated and made it apparent that they were available at anytime we needed something but all was well.
I really hope to return to stay here again. We had a wonderful time.
Thank you.

I gave this only four stars for the accuracy of the listing because the cabin is actually MUCH more cozy than the pictures portray online! My husband and I both thought that the bedroom downstairs was a concrete room in the online photos but it's not! The living room space is also much more comfortable than depicted. We appreciated that the couch was a pull out bed and very firm. One of us can't tolerate soft beds due to back issues so that saved the vacation! As always, I enjoy the walks along the windy, residential roads near the Ozarks while on vacation and this one did not disappoint! I would definitely recommend this place! Owners of the property have been very responsive and attentive.
My mom and I spent a quick weekend at "cabin #4" at this beautiful spot at what is known as "The Old Swiss Village" at the Lake of The Ozarks. The exterior is reminiscent of the historic stone construction of an earlier era, while the interior boasts all the modern amenities you would expect from a comfortable stay. The interior is comfortable, clean, and fully stocked with everything you would need on your stay (and then some). Each room has it's own climate control system, and the upstairs bedroom is absolutely immaculate with it's cathedral-style ceiling lined in natural wood and beautiful chandelier lighting. The upstairs bedroom also opens onto an upper-level deck that provides breathtaking views of the lake. The property is located at a bend in the lake, where views of the water extend in two directions at once. We had reservations for Mike's Steak Chalet Saturday night, and spent a wonderful evening Friday at the neighboring Wein House pub, both within walking distance of our cabin, and both with immaculate lake views. The entire "Old Swiss Village" property could very well be the lake's best kept secret, and we're already looking forward to returning to this property later this year.

terrible communication
the property was very cold at night and throughout the duration of my stay. I contacted Trent and he ignored my requests about my concerns. he was on vacation. the a/c in the upstairs is fine but the main level was very cold. if you plan on staying here, be aware: at night, you will literally freeze if it's around 60ish degrees at night. The property is his uncle's, so he gave me the runaround about a refund.
We love this cozy cabin! This was our 3rd visit, & we hope to return. The layout & organization make the small cabin comfortable for our family of 5 (including 3 teenage boys). The windows provide plenty of natural light, the porch & upstairs deck are nice, & there's a large green space out front for football or croquet. Kitchen has 2 stovetop burners, toaster, toaster oven, & microwave, and is stocked w/ necessary cookware/tableware. We always travel w/ a few of our own kitchen knives, since its just hard to keep a really good knife set in a rental. If you have 4 family members staying, you may also want to bring a few folding/camp chairs for the dining table. Location is great - 15-30 minutes from all kinds of trails, mini-golf, ice cream shops, etc. If you forget anything at home, you're only 5 minutes from a Dollar General. Even with the convenient location, it's set in a quiet little cubby with lake views from the dining (or boardgame!) table. Did I mention we love it?!?
