Wonderful House and Garden

The property was even better than expected. All the rooms were a good size with a huge sitting / dining room. The house was also very well equipped as well as having a lovely bathroom that looks like it’s been done recently. The garden had lots of different areas to sit in and we enjoyed using the pool - our children in particular.. The owner responded to any questions I had almost immediately and was so helpful. M. and Mme. Brunet who manage the property were also so friendly and helpful. Overall we had a super holiday - thank you!

Relaxing 2 weeks in a lovely setting

Just returned from a lovely 2 weeks in Mauriac with my husband and 15 year daughter. The accommodation was as described and seemed larger than the photos implied. Lots of space and seating areas. The kitchen is well equipped with all appliances etc very clean and most seemed very new. The key holders Mr and Mrs Brunet were lovely and welcoming (especially when we were expectedly delayed in arriving ). The pool area was great and the pool was well kept and maintained. Neuvic is a 5 minute drive away and has supermarket, bakery restaurants etc. the douzieme heure in Douzillac is a 20min walk away and serves fantastic food. Remember to bring your own bed linen (and that French pillows are square!) tea towels and kitchen gloves and towels. What a great place.

Goede uitvalsbasis

Goed verblijf, maar hadden het huis geselecteerd omdat er aanvankelijk airco was. Na booking, stond er geen airco meer in de lijst van de huisvoorzieningen. Er hing een airco maar de afstandsbediening was er niet. Zeer spijtig, de mensen die de ontvangst deden waren zeer vriendelijk.

Très beau cadre et belle maison mais sans réseau

Cette maison est très charmante, bien entretenue et au calme. L'absence de wifi aurait pu combler le fait que l'on capte extrêmement mal dans toute la maison. Cela a été compliqué de se renseigner sur des activités sans wifi et sans 4G. Mais bien-sûr on s'est débrouillé.

juste paradisiaque !!!

très bon accueil, maison très agréable et idéalement située pour pouvoir profiter de tous les attraits de la Dordogne, rencontre de personnes du cru vraiment passionnées et passionnantes. Si le bonheur est dans le pré, le Paradis est assurément à Douzillac ! :)

Séjour au Top

Nous avons séjourné 2 semaines à 7 pers.(3 adultes + 4 enfants/ados) au mois d'Août. Cette vieille maison offre au vacancier tout ce qu'il peut attendre de vacances réussies; Elle est spacieuse (belle pièce de vie), très agréable et bien équipée dans un environnement calme et au vert, propice au repos, sans oublier la piscine qui invite à la détente. A noter la proximité de nombreux sites touristiques, marchés locaux et produits du terroir qui permet la découverte de cette magnifique région. Bref, nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances dans cette jolie périgourdine que nous recommandons sans souci. Merci à la propriétaire très accessible.

Super séjour au calme, avec beaucoup de visites aux alentours ( Bergerac, Monbazillac, Perigueux...)

Très bon sejour dans cette belle maison, très calme, la piscine est un gros point positif, on a pied partout, très pratique lorsque l'on a des enfants en bas âge!!! La literie est nickel, grand lit, confortable! Il ne manque rien dans cette maison! Juste le petit bémol, l'escalier en bas serait à sécurisé avec des barrières, les enfants peuvent le monter très facilement!!! Location à recommandé en tout cas! Gîte charmant et paisible

Le gîte est un endroit charmant au milieu de la verdure et situé dans la périphérie de Douzillac. Il est propre, spacieux et bien entretenu. Sa terrasse couverte est un espace idéal et ombragé pour passer de bons moments entre amis. Deux étangs à proximité fournissent le logis aux gardons et grenouilles. Les jardins du château de Mauriac à quelques pas du gîte sont à visiter absolument. Les voisins sont charmants et la propriétaire dont nous ne connaissons que la voix semble très sympatique. La région est magnifique. Nous recommandons vivement en famille ou entre amis. Marika, David, Nathaël (3 ans) et Solan (2 ans).
