Upscale, Spacious, Modern-Farmhouse in the Heart of Oregon Wine Country - Walk to award winning wineries and farm-to-table restaurants - 1/2 block to Town.
This custom designed, modern-farmhouse style home, located in the heart of wine county, is full of charm and is warm and welcoming. Our privately owned & managed home is fully furnished, beautifully decorated and updated with all the current and desired amenities. With 2100 sq feet of living space this home has; 3 Bedrooms, a den (large monitor, keyboard and mouse to catch up on work) & 2 full bathrooms. Beautiful hardwood floors and tall ceilings are found throughout the home. Each room is filled with plenty of natural light by over-sized windows. The dinning area is spectacular with 2 large windows overlooking downtown wineries and restaurants. Dine, gather or play games in this large area under a custom designed light ring on 3 different dimmer switches to create any mood you'd like. Prepare a beautiful meal in the large and fully stocked kitchen and island area, complete with an air-fryer, microwave, dishwasher and lovely logo wine-glasses from local wineries. Relax in extra comfortable beds. Enjoy A+ linens, towels and goose down duvets. Includes is a gas fireplace to keep you cozy in the winter and air conditioning to keep you cool in the summer-time. And the home is complete with washer, dryer and ironing accessories.
The outdoor area/s in the summer-time is our favorite space. We enjoy sitting on the upper deck, on the sectional couch's or at the dining table / BBQ area where we can hear and feel the buzz of the downtown area. We also enjoy seating on the lower deck area, in the fresh evening air, under a few strings of warmly lit lights and under the bright blue sky filled with plenty of stars. The fire-pit area is complete with custom made benches, new steps, and some annual blooming flowers. Next to the fire-pit is a gate leading to the community walking path that makes getting to local wineries and eateries, including Red Hills Market a few minutes closer and without the parking headaches!
The dining area will accommodate large family groups (prior and advanced approval is needed to have more people on property than you have booked for) and has a custom built lighting feature, on 3 different dimmer switches to create any atmosphere you'd like.
We use Nest and Arlo to actively monitor the outside (only) of the property. Each device is located either at the entrance or exit of the home (front and back) or entrance of the property (back gate and front parking easement). We have at least 4 cameras to monitor front & back doors, Front and back gates and fire-lane for potential hazards. Many years ago we did not feel the need, but today, we feel this is for the safety of our guests. These are actively recording devices that are triggered by movement.

About the host
Hosted by Sue Larsen
I love Pinot-Noir and Oregon! I am a native Oregonian and love the Pacific Northwest. There is so much to do and see here. And, I love sharing our home with guests who are interested in world-class wines and restaurants. Dundee is one of my favorite places to be.
Why they chose this property
I love Oregon Wine County and we had a lot of fun creating a home that is very warm and inviting in this amazing environment. It is designed as a modern, farmhouse that is relaxing and comfortable while enjoying some of the best wine and food in Oregon Wine Country. Also, once you leave the house, there is so much to do. Tasting fees are reasonable, wonderful views and the countryside is spread out enough that it never feels crowded and no long lines. What's not to love?
This particular property is walking distance (less than 2 blocks) to many wonderful things. Here are a few wineries that are less than a five minute walk; Alit, Argyle, Fox Farms, The Hideway at Dobbes Family Winery, Four Graces, Methven, Zebra, Cathedral Ridge and Antica Terra. Additional, we're walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Dundee; Tina's, The Dundee Bistro, Red Hills Market and we're a short drive to Field + Stream and Trellis. Some night life can be found at Methvan; live music from Wednesday to Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. Lumpy's a local and historice dive bar is also walking distance. And, if you love beer, the micro-brewery in town, Barn Door Brewing, owned by Red Hills Market, is just down the street!

What makes this property unique
This is the perfect place to relax with friends and family after a day of activity or a day of wine tasting. There are so many amazing things to do in our little wine country. Besides having world-class wines, champagnes, distilleries and local brewers, we also have amazing restaurants and loads of activities. Many restaurants specialize in fresh food from local farms and markets. Additionally, we have many art galleries, hot-air ballooning, hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing and equestrian centers. The fall is a great time to visit with pumpkin patches and corn mazes. Additionally, the winter is full of truffle hunting and sparkling wine events including Bubbles Fest. The valley hosts two open-houses each year; Memorial Day and Thanksgiving Day weekend were many wineries that are closed to the public, are open and available these weekends. The Willamette Valley has so much to offer. We hope you come and visit and create memories that will last a lifetime.
