Very noce location and views to the vineyards.Clean and a tasteful decor.A lot of.ammenities.were a pleasant surprise. I stayed for a whole.week and I'd encourage the owners to add a chest of drawers, a couple.of real chairs (chairs offer a lot of support, there were zero chairs) and a coffee maker. Not everybody likes the Keurig which is very polutant. The king size mattress deserves a replacement: there's a high road and a low road on it. I'd go.back in a heart beat though. Thanks!

Excellent Choice for Wine Touring
Located between Dundee and McMinnville, Domaine McDougall provides a convenient location to explore Willamette Valley wineries. You will need to drive or hire a driver but there are excellent options minutes away.
The 2nd floor great room combines a small kitchen with a nice space to relax and a view of the vineyards. Bedroom and bath provide all the essentials on the ground floor.

Retreat, regroup, and recharge.
We spent Christmas visiting siblings, parents, children, and grand children. Every day was high energy and fast paced. Domain McDougall was our haven, our retreat...It is comfortable, clean, and inviting.
The views were good, but I imagine they are fantastic during the growing season for grapes and hazelnuts.
The location is so conveniently positioned for access to the entire Willamette Valley.
Although we never met our hosts personally, they were pleasant, accommodating, and easy to work with.
On a scale of 1-10, I give them an 11.
We hope to visit here regularly.

The property was great and a very cool little cottage style room although attached to the main home. The place was very clean and a neat layout. The bed was also very comfortable with lots of room and closet space. The two bathrooms, a full downstairs next to the bedroom and a half bath upstairs was very convenient. The location was great for local attractions and an easy drive to coast—we really enjoyed the place and our time there!

Great location and value
This property is in an ideal location for Oregon Pinot country with easy access to further destinations like the cascades and the coast. It is somewhat tucked away yet close to the main road. The view of the vineyard and hill across the road is very nice! We would definitely stay here again!

Just what we needed...
Domaine McDougal was the perfect home base for our family reunion in the beautiful Dundee Oregon wine country...just a little over one mile from where we gathered for the celebration! Very clean, decorated nicely, comfortable bed downstairs...and located near many of the region's wineries. Grocery stores were just ten minutes away. The hide-a-bed upstairs and lengthy windowseat provide additional sleeping spaces. Thank you Tiffany and Andrew for this cozy and nicely-priced place to stay!

Wonderful mother, daughter visit to wine country.
Clean. Comfortable bedding. Kitchen stocked well enough for those folks who like to prepare own meals. Close to many wineries. Rural setting with a down home feel. Would stay again.

Very clean and had just the right mix of games, books and movies to watch.
If you’re looking for a convenient spot to tour six-eight vineyards this is your ticket! You don’t have to drive on the main highway! The TV is pretty complicated to figure out. Dish or local TV would be a nice add. Additionally outside could be a bit more comfortable. It was too hot honestly to be outside- but late evening or early morning would have been nice to sit and look at the stats or sunrise. The grass and dandelions we’re a bit high.

Sorry our home did not live up to your expectations. If you would have text/called us, we would have been happy to help you with TV. Also, we are having a bit of a heat wave, that is out of our control, there is AC in our home! As for the grass and dandelions...we are on 2 "country acres" and do the best we can to keep all mowed.

Beautiful view, quiet, getaway
Tiffany was a great host! She responded to my messages immediately and was very accomidating when we asked to check in a little early. The place was exactly what we were looking for, for a quiet romantic wine getaway. The place was very clean and relaxing. We couldn't have gotten any closer to the wineries and we found ourselves wanting to go back to the house to relax. We used the BBQ, read in the reading nook, and watched movies on the couch. I would recommend this place to anyone!

About the host
Hosted by Tiffany Prather
Andrew and I are from the PNW, and love the outdoors, photography, cooking, wine tasting, traveling and gardening. We wanted a little piece of wine country some day to call our own. We also are custom cabinet builders and have a woodshop on our property.
Why they chose this property
We love the simplicity of the country but still close enough to small towns and the city of Portland.
What makes this property unique
Close to many many wineries and local restaurants, our home is in the perfect location! It's also quiet and peaceful with lots of wild life. You might even see a Herring or Hawk on our property.
