Perfect place

Nothing but good things to stay about this property and owner. Great communication and responsiveness. The property was perfect for our family of four. It’s located within walking distance of the main downtown strip on 3rd Street. Would stay there again.

Lovely Home

I am a VRBO host in Santa Barbara and I have stayed at several short term rentals in McMinnville. This is one of the nicest places I have stayed. The house is incredibly well stocked. They thought of everything you might need during your stay. The beds are very comfortable. We were welcomed with snacks and wine. There's a lovely yard with a BBQ. It was too cold for us to enjoy that, but we will be back. The house is easy to find and check in was a breeze.

The house was very comfortable and walking distance to town. Would certainly recommend for time in McMinnville. Only improvement suggestion is a sharpening of knives and maybe better cookware.

Everything you need

This place was amazing on the inside. Completely new and updated for all the convenience of home. Easy to get to downtown and some beautiful wineries. The owner added special touches, pastries, wine, coffee and creamer. It really was perfect for 6 people- 3 couples! Dinning area was large and perfect for card playing!

What a great first time VRBO for me! My Brother & 2 Sisters plus myself stayed at this cute house with all kinds of up-grades! We had so much fun playing yatzee and cooking for each other and visiting! The process was very smooth and we want to thank Janet for answering all my questions and being so helpful. I would book this place again when I go to visit my older brother and his family!

Rooms are small but home is very functional. Very clean. Walkable to downtown. Driving in, neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy but it turned out to be fine. Well-supplied with kitchen and bath items.

Drumwood Dream Home

In Summary...This Place is AWESOME..! Home is fully equipped with all necessary dishes, condiments and accessories needed for use in the kitchen. Home was Clean...with Extra Blankets, Pillows...and LOTS of TOWELS..!! Loved the Garage Parking, two separate rear patio decks, large supply of books and games available, separate dining room as well as counter seating. Centrally located in McMinnville, we were 2 blocks from the Linfield University Campus where our Wine Festival was occurring and only around 4-5 blocks from the downtown area. We had requested a stand-alone fan for one of our group, not only was one provided, but there are separate AC Units in each bedroom which sort of nullified the need for a fan. Overall, we all agreed that a repeat stay would be definitely worthwhile.

We were in town to drop our son off at Lindfield University. The location is so close to the university, 5 minute walk. It’s also walkable (but we didn’t) to the main downtown spots on 3rd street. House is nice, near apartments, but they were not noisy and we felt safe. My wife and MIL went for walks in the neighborhood a few times with no concerns. Overall, the owner was attentive and helpful.

Quiet retreat nestled in town close to amenities

The house was well laid out and just as noted in the pictures. Having the garage for parking was a bonus and the TV carried full coverage of the Kentucky Derby which we would have otherwise not been able to see. The host provided us with lovely pastries, blueberries and a bottle of wine which was also a bonus. Restaurants, the beautiful Linfield College campus, grocery stores and ice cream were all within walking distance. The neighborhood is an older residential district and was so quiet for a weekend. This was a welcome respite for our daughters from their hectic jobs and a special time together as a family. We would stay again!

The great room and kitchen with it's stainless steel appliances and stone aggregate counter give it an up to date feel. The beds are well appointed and comfortable with air condition and great room. Decks off of 2 of the bedrooms are spacious and inviting. I hope you find my home to your liking as well.
