Discover Dundee Charm - Walk to Wine Tasting Rooms and Restaurants

This home is built for entertaining with a spacious open floorplan. The chef's kitchen with gas cooktop opens into a vaulted great room with plenty of comfortable seating. Enjoy your meals and commune at the dining room table which seats six or around the large granite island. The primary suite is set off from the rest of the bedrooms and has a comfortable California King bed, walk-in closet, settee, and television. The ensuite bathroom includes a shower as well as a soaking tub for relaxing. The two guest bedrooms are situated next to the hall bathroom and both have comfortable queen-sized beds along with ample storage space. Adjacent to the front door is an office with a sofa bed for additional sleeping space as needed.

Enjoy the beautiful Oregon weather from our back deck or under the gazebo. Or watch the sunrise with a cup of Hawaiian coffee from the covered front porch. On a clear day you can also see Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson, as the home sits on the hill above Dundee. The lot is nearly a quarter acre, and although it is in a neighborhood just blocks from tasting rooms, it feels quite private. Patio furniture, a gas grill and a small fire pit (sorry, you need to supply your own firewood) are available to enhance your outdoor experience.

Safety & Security: Our cleaning personnel continue to follow all recommended cleaning and disinfection guidelines specified by Vrbo and Airbnb. We are blocking rentals before and after stays (no same day turnovers) to ensure that staff has enough time to do a thorough cleaning. While this has led to increased cleaning fees, we are sure you will be pleased with the condition and safety our home. In addition, we have recently installed a front doorbell camera primarily to provide assistance, if needed, during check-in, and to view delivery of goods. Thanks for your understanding!

Great Location

Really close to Dundee restaurants and wineries. Loved the place. Very homey feeling and we felt very welcomed. Recommend highly if looking for place in Williamette Valley.

Nice home in a wonderful neighborhood. A great central spot for us to stay while we attended a family wedding. We will be back when we have more time to do wine tasting - near many wineries!

High quality everything

This property is so very well appointed, clean, and thought out. It just works incredibly well to both gather and have one's own space when needed. Furnishing and appliances are all high quality and the host very responsive and accommodating. Excellent on all fronts.

Great house, lovely for dinner

Check in process was a little wonky but was resolved within 15 minutes. The garage was great to have and so was the back porch/yard. Extremely clean. It’s on a hillside above Dundee. Close to the couple restaurants in town and wine tasting rooms. Would rent again!

I don't want to tell people how great this place is because I don't want it to be booked when I next want to use it! It was a great property - had everything you would need, clean, roomy, comfortable and great location. The yard was fantastic... plenty of space to relax with some wine. It also allowed us to walk to many tasting rooms and restaurants, which is a huge bonus. Definitely recommend!

Best home ever!

We rented this home for three days while attending a wedding at Heiser Farms. You cannot go wrong with the beautiful home in Dundee. Home is equipped with everything a family could need. Kitchen is completely stocked and had an abundance of cookware, mixing bowls, and utensils. Three comfortable bedrooms plus a den in a terrific layout. Home is walking distance to the Dundee Bistro, Red Hills Market, Argyle Winery, and more. We will be back.

Perfect for a family weekend

We rented this house for a long weekend in wind country with our son, daughter in law, and two grandchildren who are one and a half and three years old. It was located near to several wineries and the and the Evergreen Aviation Museum. One could easily walk through circle wineries and Dundee. The house was clean, well appointed, and the floor plan was perfect for our needs. It also has a private backyard that is completely fenced in, which was ideal for our grandchildren. The host responsiveness to our text was almost immediate. We all agreed that we would love to return.

Overall our stay was good. The location was great and we enjoyed our stay. The house was stocked well with everything we needed and it was clean. There were some things that could be improved though. There was a dead spider smashed on the TV wall In the living room that was a bit gross. The battery’s in the remote in the master were dead but we switched them with the batteries from the remote in the office. Some of the bathroom towels smelled like mildew as well. Overall a good stay.

Gale and Jeff Eckerd were born and raised (for the most part - Gale was an Army brat in her early years) on Oahu in the beautiful State of Hawaii. Both of them are now retired from the State's Department of Health - Jeff as a Program Manager for the Indoor and Radiological Health Branch and Gale as a Human Resources Specialist. They love traveling to new places, experiencing local cuisine, and enjoying fine wine.

Why they chose this property

In 2005, they first visited the area on a wine vacation, and Jeff fell in love with the Willamette Valley. Now fully retired, Dundee is the perfect place to spend their golden years. After scouring the area for some time, this home "fell" into their laps in May 2016, and they couldn't be happier. They would love to have you stay and experience all that Oregon has to offer!

What makes this property unique

What made Dundee so appealing to Jeff and Gale was the location and community. Who wouldn't want to live in the heart of wine country? And a quiet, small-town setting with wonderful, friendly people....PERFECT! Not to mention the plethora of outdoor activities available nearby. Away from the hustle and bustle of Portland, but close enough to visit. Plus we are only an hour and a half or so from the beautiful Oregon Coast. Wineries, fine dining, breweries, fishing, hiking, golfing, shopping.....HEAVEN!
