I was in Cody for work, and this made a great place to stay out of town, I could sleep with the windows open and listen to the sounds of nature.

Cabin was clean and everything worked and in good condition. It was just as described as far as amenities and coziness. Cannot beat the surroundings. Peaceful 24/7. Super nice hosts and family of dogs and horses. Great stay. Thank you Jo.
Easy to find, checking in was easy, the hosts super friendly and the dogs come and visit all the time. It was really fun, relaxing and very close to Cody. The hosts were so sweet to give good tips where to go and what to see. Overall I would go there again any time.
We loved staying at the cabin. It was perfect for a place to relax but close to the activities we wanted to do. Talking with Jo & Bounty and meeting the pups was an added bonus! We hope to be back soon đź’™

We absolutely loved the cabin. Perfect location. Away from it all but close enough to go do what we wanted. Very clean and cute cabin. Even loved the dogs and the horse. Just made the experience better.

Jo & Bounty were great & so were the canine welcoming committee!!
We were towing a small A-frame camper and we were able to unhook & leave at Apple Jack Ranch while we explored quaint Cody. Would definitely recommend & return to this host.
If you truly want to feel like you are in the wild, Wild West, this is the place for you! We wanted a unique experience and we found it! Loved the charm of the tiny cabin in the middle of “nowhere “. Hosts were very kind and helpful!

Beautiful property and the owner is helpful and personable. The cabins are off the beaten path but close to town. We had a great stay here the only thing was the bathroom door and the front door open easily because the cabins are on a slant. You have to keep the bathroom door closed so not to hear the person next to you
I was blown away by this cabin stay. Just outside of Cody so we were close to amenities and activities yet far away enough to feel like a country get-away. Sitting on the deck was peaceful and full of sounds of local birds. The rustic cabin was clean and full of amenities I did not expect like a hair dryer, AC unit, and coffee supplies. Much more than Ive gotten in other rustic cabins. The property was easy to find due to effective signage, and the host consistently answered my questions in less than 24 hours. The walls of the cabin are thin so you can hear your neighbors well. However, most people are gone during the day and shutting the bathroom door provides additional buffer between units. We had no problems sleeping. A bonus was being visited by the ranch dogs. Each one was so sweet and well-mannered, provided us company, and helped us miss our german shepherds a little less. Without a doubt, we would stay here again and would recommend the cabin to our family and friends who we love dearly.
Loved this little ranch cabin! Yes, it's small but the bed is comfy, and the bathroom is clean with amazing water pressure in the shower. An added bonus was the four furry friends who met us upon arrival as well as a horse that loved having company. It's just a few miles outside Cody but really relaxing. Nothing beats sitting on the porch after a busy day and just enjoying the view (and the peace and quiet)!
Cabin was as described (No grill but would be pretty hard to make use of it). The location was really nice with a great view.
Comfortable bed, decent sized bathroom and just close enough to town. Good internet as well.

About the host

Originally born in Copenhagen, Denmark, my life took a beautiful and unexpected turn in 2005 when I crossed the ocean to work as a wrangler on a dude ranch. It was there, among the horses and the open country, that I met my husband, Bounty. We fell in love with the ranch lifestyle and each other, and in 2010, we welcomed our son, Hector.Today, our family is happily rooted in the mountains, dedicating our time to caring for our animals and building our ranch step by step. When I’m not outdoors, you’ll find me in my art room, where I love creating watercolor paintings and breathing new life into old furniture through restoration and painting. While the rugged mountains are home, a piece of my heart still belongs to Scandinavia, and I love nothing more than sitting by the ocean whenever we go back to visit. Through every adventure, one thing remains constant: family and friends are always my number one priority.
