Lage, Haus und Garten sehr schön, Sauberkeit ungenügend

Wir haben das Haus als zwei Familien mit sieben Personen für 10 Tage gemietet und fanden die Lage mitten im Dorf ideal, um die Gegend zu erkunden und es war alles Nötige einfach und schnell zu Fuss erreichbar (Bäcker, Metzger, Café, Supermarkt). Auch das Parkieren an der Strasse war kein Problem, wir fanden jederzeit Platz für zwei Fahrzeuge. Das Haus bietet gut Platz für 8 Personen mit 4 Schlafzimmern, zwei kleineren Badezimmern, einem Esszimmer, einem Wohnzimmer und einer Küchenzeile im Eingangsbereich; einmal grosses Doppelbett, zweimal etwas schmalere Doppelbetten, einmal zwei Einzelbetten. Den grossen Garten, welcher an ein weiteres Haus angrenzt, nutzten wir gerne und die Jugendlichen konnten sogar Fussball und Basketball spielen. Die Küche ist mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet, sodass wir im Haus/Garten vorwiegend kalt assen und die warmen Mahlzeiten meist tagsüber auf den Ausflügen einnahmen. Als Minuspunkt müssen wir leider die Sauberkeit aufführen, das Haus war ungenügend gereinigt. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass lediglich die Toiletten sowie die Lavabos in den Badezimmern gereinigt waren, sodass wir nach unserer Ankunft erst einmal Saubermachten (Staubsaugen, Duschen und Böden in den Badezimmern reinigen, Küche und komplettes Geschirr reinigen, weil alles klebte (kleine Geschirrspülmaschine vorhanden, welche jedoch noch mit schmutzigem Frühstücksgeschirr bestückt war). Der Schlüssel wurde uns durch jemanden überreicht, welcher uns zwar durch das Haus führte, jedoch nicht gut Französisch oder Englisch sprach. Der Besitzer meldete sich am ersten Wochenende kurz, um etwas im Haus auszutauschen, sonst hatten wir keinen weiteren persönlichen Kontakt mehr.

Nous améliorons constamment les conditions d'accueil de nos vacanciers afin de passer un bon séjour dans un logement refait à neuf (salles de bains, cuisine, peintures,..). Par contre je souhaite vous signaler que vous avez cassé le mécanisme de réglage de la hauteur du panneau de basket, sans nous prévenir et pour lequel nous n'avons pas réclamé de dédommagement. Les propriétaires étaient sur place et les chambres communicantes .ce qui n'était pas précisé dans l'annonce.L'etat de propreté laissait à désirer : beaucoup de toiles d'araignée, poussière. Douche à l'étage crasseuse.ustenciles de cuisine limités

Nous améliorons constamment les conditions d'accueil de nos vacanciers afin de passer un bon séjour dans un logement refait à neuf (salles de bains, cuisine, peintures,..). Par contre je souhaite vous signaler que dans l'annonce sont prévus des frais de ménage de 60 € payables à l'entrée dans le logement. Etant donné votre niveau d'exigence, qui m'etonne au vue des salles de bains neuves, nous avons décidé de ne pas vous les demander. Cordialement

+ Maison très agréable dans un beau village et bon accueil ++ Mention spéciale au jardin, vraiment très beau et où on peut même faire du sport (terrain de basket et ping-pong) - Le Wifi vient d’une autre partie de la propriété et est un peu faiblard en revanche

Séjour très agréable à Isigny

Mes amis et moi avons passé un séjour idéal. Maison très agréable avec son beau et grand jardin dans le centre ville d'Isigny-sur-Mer. Possibilité de faire des barbecues, du ping-pong, du badminton et du basket. Il y a tous les commerces accessibles à pied. La plage la plus proche est, quant à elle, à 20 minutes en voiture (Omaha Beach/Utah Beach). Les propriétaires étaient facilement joignables et nous ont permis de faire un check-in et check-out à l'heure qu'on voulait. Je recommande fortement !

Interesting location with plenty of things to do

We were warmly welcomed by Mr and Mrs Chiriac to their spacious barn (I think ?) conversion with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped for basic cooking and there is nice garden with a basket ball hoop and badminton net. The property is located 50m from Isigny sur mer town center well within walking distance to several bakeries and Carrefour. We spent most of our days with outdoor activities : -FestyParc amuzement Parc and Clecygliss luge ride for the kids on day one -Mont St Michel was worth the trip with a detour to Granville to see the harbour on day two -Normandy landing sites on the way home to Calais. The only disappointment was the lack of WiFi and only 4 TV channels out of 20 were working while we were there which may not be as important to everyone. We enjoyed our stay and the warm hospitality of Mr and Mrs Chiriac. Karl & Safiah Verhulst
