About this property

This 5 bedroom, 2 bath shady Victorian lady blends yesterday with today! Located in Avalon's beachblock, the house was renovated and expanded in 2005, and it now includes an updated kitchen and AC. However, tenants should be aware that this is not a pristine, modern house. The owners' family have enjoyed the house for four generations! Enjoy relaxing on the screened porch surrounded by trees, or take a short walk down the block to the beach. Just several blocks in the other direction is Avalon's business district, complete with shopping and restaurants. The bedding arrangements are as follows: Queen bed and single bed on first floor with full bathroom; king bed, queen bed, two single beds on second floor with full bath; three single beds in dormitory room on third floor (no bathroom). An enclosed outdoor shower is located next to back kitchen porch.

Filthy, cluttered home with trash in the overgrown yard

This home is very uncomfortable due to the clutter and lack of care. Not to mention the broken front door that did not close let alone lock. The ceiling fans have years of dust and grime as well as the floor lamp in the family room. The previous tenants’ food crumbs were all over the porches and bedrooms. Waited two extra hours to check in due to extensive “Covid cleaning” which obviously did not happen. Owners did not care about our concerns and complaints.
