Salty Pause: Dog-Friendly Townhome 3 Blocks from the Beach!

Bring your whole family, including your precious pooch, to the beautiful New Jersey shore for a fun vacation! Nicely decorated 4 bedroom, 2 full bath townhome just three blocks from the beach and one block from tennis, basketball and a playground. The house is located near the west end of 40th Street, near 4th Avenue.

The first floor has three bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with 2 twin beds, one with 2 queen beds and a TV) and 1 full bathroom with a double vanity and shower. The second floor has the Primary bedroom (king bed and TV), 1 full bathroom with shower, fully-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and living room with vaulted ceiling, fireplace, mounted 42' HD flat panel TV, sectional sofa and 2 dining tables. Sliding doors open to a deck with a dining table and 10 chairs. The yard is fully fenced. The backyard has a nice outdoor shower and a large deck with 3 teak lounge chairs, 2 Acapulco chairs and a gas grill.

This house is dog-friendly. Although the house is thoroughly cleaned between renters, if you or your family members have pet allergies, you should consider another house.

Rental includes 8 seasonal beach tags and 8 beach cruisers for use during stay.

Perfect Getaway!

My family absolutely adored this lovely, cozy home, in such a convenient location. It was the perfect winter getaway for us, and we were so grateful that our little pup could join us! The owner was VERY responsive—immediately responsive and communicative. Highly recommend. We will be returning! :)

Great dog friendly home

Well equipped spacious home. Easy for our group and the enclosed yard worked well for our furry family member. Easy walk to town and beach entrance was only a 3 block walk. The outdoor shower is always a treat.

Our family really enjoyed staying at Susan’s house - it was very clean - this was our second year and it feels very comfortable there . Susan is very easy to communicate with- wish we could have stayed longer!

Great pet friendly house in Avalon

We had a great time at this beautifully decorated house. Bedroom and full bath on ground floor was perfect for my mom. The neighborhood was quiet, deck and backyard were perfect outdoor spaces and we loved having the use of the bikes. Bonus that we were able to bring our dog. Properties like this are limited and this is one of the nicest we’ve found. Highly recommend!

Lovely dog friendly home close to beach

We decided to book a last minute trip to celebrate New Years and were happy we could bring our dogs with us. Susan’s home was clean and recently updated, which is hard to find in pet friendly rentals and made for a comfortable and relaxing home away from home. We had a minor hiccup at check in but Susan called immediately and had her property manager there in less than 5 minutes. Great communication and everything was quickly resolved. Would love to stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable. Very clean. I was worried because we are not dog people and it is dog friendly. Unfortunately, the weather was pretty bad, but we made the best of it. Wish we could have enjoyed the beach amenities. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Beautiful beach home with a wonderful vibe

We loved this home from the minute we walked in. My now husband and I got married at the Icona in the middle of our almost two week stay. We had a few friends and family members stay for a few days with us and they enjoyed it too. The house is very clean and modern you can tell it’s updated and that the owner takes care of it. It’s is very spacious and fantastic if others are joining you. We want to return for sure! This house is an A+

House was very clean and well kept. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was nice not having to bring our own bikes or beach chairs. There were plenty for all of us. Great House!!

This home was well equipped for our beach vacation. The rooms are cozy and in the common area there are plenty of places for 8 guests to sit comfortably. The outdoor space, outdoor shower and amenities were all well maintained. I would definitely return and recommend!

Great place to stay

I was very happy with this rental. The bedrooms were a good size with good quality beds and mattresses. The bathrooms also were large. Overall the house is very well equipped. We came down packed to the gills, which has always been necessary in other houses. This house had enough working bikes, beach chairs, and other equipment that we really could have left ours at home. I'm picky about kitchen equipment, bringing my own knives, serving platters, etc., but this kitchen would have been fine if I'd brought nothing. The kitchen island is a really good add and we set it up as a buffet every dinner. Someone with taste put a lot of thought into this house.

Great house and awesome location. Our dog enjoyed the deck. This was our second time renting this house and We love staying here. Loved the new kitchen. However…Check out was 11 but the cleaners arrived at 10.
