Avalon NJ "New" Upside Down, Near Town & Beach with Stone Spa/Pool!

Spacious two-story single home east of Dune Drive, located steps from the center of town and a block and a half to one of the best beaches in town. You will be in entertaining/relaxation/play heaven in your private lavish raised spa/pool with stone walls, lighting, and 3 waterfalls including a 6 foot waterfall from spa to pool. The upside down layout is perfect for entertaining, with a spacious and vaulted kitchen, living room, and dining room with access to a power awning elevated deck. This great room area is bright and open with grand window views in multiple directions. The kitchen features granite countertops, wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, and a large center island. The living room has plenty of seating for the entire family, features a flat screen TV above a custom built-in fireplace, and offers slider door access to a large front deck that is the perfect place to watch the sun fall. In the center rear of the second floor is a hand painted beach scene powder room and a rear large master bedroom with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. The first floor has three spacious bedrooms; one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with 2 bunk beds and a full size bed. One of these bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom while the other two bedrooms share a spacious hall bath. The laundry/mud room is on the first floor. All the hardwood floors throughout the common areas have been recently refinished and beach house freshly painted. If your goal is to get as close to a great beach and to town as possible, make sure to preview this very special property!
Please note: There is a single security camera on the pool house that monitors the rear yard behind the fencing that covers the side entry, and pool area for the security of guests and the property. If the camera is an issue for our guests, it may easily be taken down during the guests stay.

Of course I had scoured VRBO to find the perfect place for us… Six adults and three children eight and under. Upon our arrival all were in awe of the place I had chosen. Clean, bright and airy, fully equipped, wonderful pool, and spa. Close to the beach with Eric offering beach chairs, an umbrella and toys for the kids. Sure made life easy for me! Our family had a wonderful time being together. Delicious hoagies across the street and putt putt down the road. I would highly recommend this VRBO.

We had a great stay! The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and furnished, and plenty of room. Traveling with young kids, the location was absolutely perfect, walking distance to beach, playgrounds, ice cream, dining, and more. Eric was very responsive and helpful and we really felt like this was our “vacation home” not just a place to stay. Would definitely stay here again. Our favorite part was the hot tub, where we couldn’t wait to relax after the kids went to sleep.

Great House In Perfect Location
Extremely clean and well maintained house near beach and center of town. Very relaxing as we rarely got in the car as everything was so close by. The house was exactly as advertised, and Eric went above and beyond to make sure our stay was just right. We wouldn't hesitate to book Eric's place again.

Great Memories!
We just returned from our second stay in this Avalon house and our experience couldn’t have been better. The house is in the perfect location (close to beach and downtown), has an amazing pool/spa, is well stocked and super clean. The owner is very responsive abs was a pleasure to work with.

My name is Eric Miller. My wife Toula, and son Eric P. (35), and his wife Danielle (35) live in Wyomissing, a suburb of Reading, PA. Eric P. works with his Dad as a Realtor at Re/Max of Reading. Our son Andy (26) is a Video Production/Marketing Manager with a firm in Dallas, Texas. Our daughter Nicolette (33) has her own writing/social media marketing company while locating herself between Dallas, Avalon, and Wyomissing.
We have vacationed in Avalon/Stone Harbor all our lives, and find our time there the most rewarding and memorable times for all. This includes a week long rental with our parents and children simply known as "Beach Week" and many stays throughout the summer at the places we own at the shore.
This purchase of 3229 Dune Drive fulfills a lifelong dream to enjoy the shore at its best, with the space and interior and exterior amenities for all to enjoy including special guests. 3229 Dune is in the best location possible and will be our retirement home down the road as we enjoy all seasons at Avalon!

Why they chose this property

Our 3229 Dune beach house is the best combination of location next to town with all it's offerings and 1 1/2 short walking blocks to Avalon's best beaches on 32nd and 33rd. It is inside Dune Drive on the east side toward the ocean. A bright and open upside down layout is best for beach living and our property is in great condition and with all amenities and conveniences provided and an elaborate spa/pool with stone waterfalls is the best way to enjoy the shore. The decor throughout is "Beachy Coastal"!
Avalon, to us, is the best place to enjoy the beach for an active family and is the shore location with the most family oriented activities without the congestion and crowds of most shore options. Relax or Play, we feel it is the best place to do both!

What makes this property unique

This beach house is on a low traffic street, yet close by to ice cream shops, places to eat, and minature golf. A small boardwalk with arcade is 1 1/2 blocks away, along with a special playground and outdoor entertainment pavillion with regular events. There are playgrounds, tennis, pickleball, basketball courts, watersports rentals, boating trips, local winery tours, microbreweries, an AWESOME local Zoo, and a charming Movie Theatre close by to name only a few enjoyment options!
A 5 to 10 minute walk to nightlife activities are close enough, but far enough away at the same time for our relaxing location.
Two master suites are ideal for parents, grandparents, or two primary couples in the group.
