Cheap
The accommodation was just about adequate, basic, no frills. The sofa bed in the living room was very uncomfortable as a sofa. The chairs were likewise (cheap) and very uncomfortable, the table wobbly. The fitted kitchen seemed to be falling apart in places, roughly finished but it did the job. Everything seemed to be cast offs but good enough for a holiday home I suppose. The bathroom was a very tight space, the shower doors didn’t meet, one door was off the rail at the bottom so leakage was inevitable (our host told us to put down a towel to soak up any leakage). The hot water which goes on in the evening (in the budget time?) fills a storage tank (about a half bath full), so shower time is very limited as is the use of hot water for any other usage. Enough water for two very short showers. The knackered and 'temperamental' washing machine only does a cold wash - that is if you are lucky enough to get the thing working! We found the flat reasonably clean on arrival - not immaculately clean, the windows were smeared, there was fluff under the bed, it was perhaps what you could expect from budget accommodation, basic, no frills, cheap. The landlady made a point of saying that she would want it presented in such a way when we vacated. We spent a good many hours before our departure making the flat as clean as we had found it. We were somewhat taken aback though on our departure by being charged an extra fifty euros by our host because our cleaning wasn’t as ‘immaculate’ as sh
