Excellent stay in very comfortable surrounds

Property was excellent and had everything you’d expect. Large garden which was great for our kids. Excellent cycling and walking all around, and 2 vineyards within 1K to explore.

Great location. Nice house, with nice pool and gardens, just a little tired in places. Maybe hadn't been used for a wee while before us, a wee clean around the bathrooms before we arrived would have been a good idea.

Great location for visiting chateaus. Given the price point I was disappointed with the house, while the kitchen is well equipped the whole place needs a good clean. Mouldy showers, stained mattress, old bobbly sheets, general build up of dirt. There is no storage in the two single rooms at all for your clothes.

Chateaux heaven

The property had everything we wanted. Air conditioning, lovely clean pool, hot water, comfy beds, Wi-Fi, video games, football goal, board games, badminton etc etc. Set in a peaceful location but close to the village of Cours- Cheverney and Blois it was a superb area to explore all the dazzling French chateaux and take days off lounging by the pool.

Wonderful for our family of five.

Great location with lots of castles within easy drive. Really enjoyed the private pool and the quiet country views. Would have been easier to locate the property if a house number had been provided. Because of our limited French, communication with the property manager was a fun adventure!

Fabulous holiday in a beautiful spot

We had a fantastic holiday at Cour-Cheverny. From check-in to our departure the process was great. Fab house - cool inside in the heat of the day with a beautiful pool, bbq and gardens to enjoy. The village of Cour-Cheverny is gorgeous, with friendly staff at the boulangerie, supermarche, pharmacy and tabac. We can recommend Le Pinocchio for dinner, and we also spent a day in Blois looking at the sights. We returned to the UK happy, relaxed and keen to return. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Great house in a central location for exploring the Loire Valley region.Plenty of information sent ahead of the trip and very simple check-in arrangements. A quick phone call to a friend of the owner and 3 minutes later he arrived and showed us in to the house, explained everything and left us with the keys.The house is spacious and very well equipped - whether it's lazy days by the pool or cooking lunch / evening meal.The private gardens meant the children could play safely, whilst we could relax and read a book etc.The house is a couple of km away from the nearest shops and the road to walk it wasn't the best but you can easily drive there. There's a massive hyper-market just 15 minutes away by car.For sight seeing, there's plenty to do. We visited chateaus and local towns as well as activities on the Loire itself.

Great location

3 generations stayed and we had a good trip, the location for visiting nearby villages, chateauxs etc was great. The photos of the house were accurate, though the decor is dated in many places and some areas that should have been spotless (fridge had crumbs, bottom of shower doors need a deep clean) we're not as clean as they should have been. The house manage was pleasant, though (our own fault not speaking much French) we had to get by with hand gesticulations and Google translate to understand him. Overall we had a good stay.

Très belle maison avec une excellente situation géographique pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire .Apéro , barbecue, et piscine chaque soir au calme. Petit commerce de proximité très accueillant et un vin très fin le Romorantin a découvrir ( moins de 1 Km de cette maison ). Merci et a une prochaine .

Très bon séjour en famille.

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable à Cour-Cheverny. Les contacts avec les propriétaires et l'accueil par un charmant voisin étaient parfaits, merci pour les cadeaux de bienvenue ! La maison est belle et confortable on s'y sent "chez soi", elle est également très bien équipée . Nous avons bien apprécié la piscine et le beau jardin au calme. Idéale pour se détendre et pour profiter de la région riche en activités culturelles, sportives et gastronomiques.

Excellent location

Lovely location for visiting chateaux and river Loire. House well equipped and clean. Very helpful and prompt caretaker for any little issues or just general queries about the area. Property owners also very agreeable and helpful. 30 minute walk to the centre of village with several restaurants and basic shops. There is a bike hire place in Cheverny, but,we didn't manage to hire bikes whilst there do would recommend you try to do this in advance.

Très belle maison avec piscine idéalement située

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Raphaëlle! Tout était conforme à l’annonce, maison très fonctionnelle est parfaitement adaptée à notre famille de 2 adultes et 3 enfants de moins de 10 ans. La maison est idéalement située à proximité du village de Cour-Cheverny tout en étant au calme dans la campagne, à 2 pas des circuits de vélo des châteaux de la Loire. Nous la reviendrons avec plaisir!
