The Norman cottage

At the edge of a departmental road, winding through the Durdent Valley two authentic thatched cottages highlighted by their enclosed and flowered garden surrounded by grassland with swings. The river and the hiking path are only a hundred meters away, and the region is very touristy: Nature, heritage, leisure park, local gastronomy, beaches of Veulette sur Mer / Veules les roses, marina in Saint Valery en Caux.

The two thatched cottages can be rented together or separately.

It consists of a ground floor, large dining room, living room with typical Norman fireplace, TV, DVD player, fitted kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, etc.) bathroom with walk-in shower, washing machine, separate wc.
Upstairs: The first two bedrooms are made up of two double beds (160cm). A third bedroom is made up of two single beds and a cot.

Au rendez-vous de la bonne humeur, du dépaysement, en un lieu magique et superbe et de qualité. -la photo du gite sur le site d'Abritel n'est pas conforme à la réalité -propreté:souris,toiles d'araignées-casseroles à meme le sol!! -frigo non degivré depuis??avec reliquats de ??,pas possible de mettre une bouteille en position verticale dans la porte du frigo car plus d"'étagere" pour le faire -manque de place dans l'armoire pour y deposer les denrées à l'abri des souris -sécurité;extincteur périmé alors qu'il y a un grand feu ouvert,l'alarme incendie se trouve "planquée" dans le tiroir de la commode de la chambre des "parents" -vaisselle insuffisante niveau couverts ,verres ,tasses -TV en panne toute la durée du séjour,plus de WIFI pendant4 jours(defaut de paiement de l'abonnement) -la fenetre de la baie vitrée ne ferme PAS(tentative de vol??)il faut garder les volets (dont un est pourri dans le bas!!)fermés quand on s'absente;nous n'avions pas été prévenus de cet état de chose... -la presence d'une trop abondante végétation renforce l'obscurité à l'intérieur du gite:necessité de garder les lumières allumées toute la journée; -un seul transat pour 4 personnes -sanitaires,literie:ok -

Éliane est accueillante et arrangeante. La chaumine correspond tout à fait à la description: rustique, mais tout confort, dans un cadre authentique. Petit bémol pour le ménage, et les souris qui se régalent la nuit de ce qui a mal été rangé! Bon séjour, on recommande.

Schöner 2-wöchiger Erlebnisurlaub

Wir wollten in dieser Gegend Frankreichs "alle" Schlösser, Abteiruinen und Burgen kennenlernen. Die Lage des urigen Häuschens war sehr gut,zentral für unsere Unternehmungen. Das Meer nicht fern auch die Seine mit ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir haben bei schönem Wetter sehr viel gesehen und sogar ein Marquise hat uns Teile seines Schlosses gezeigt. Die Hütte Norman (Teile wohl aus dem 15.Jhd.) ist klein, für 2 Personen ideal. Gute Ausstattung, tolles Flair und ein schöner kleiner Garten. Sehr nette Vermieter und ein tolles Restaurant in der Nähe.

400 Jahre alte Hütte, techisch in gutem Zustand (Bad, WC). Zimmer und Betten o.k. Angenehmes Reddach sorgt für angenehmes Klima. Offene Küche und Kamin, Küchensortiment lückenhaft. Aussenbereich nett. Kreisstraße auf der hinteren Seite nur mit wenig Verkehr, kaum belastend. Umgebeung wünsreschön in einem Tal mit Fluß. Bäcker und Supermarkt 5km entfernt. Auto notwendig. Empfehlenswert, super Preis / Leistungsverhältnis! Würde wieder buchen!

Het is een pitoresk huisje maar niet schoon en alles is zeer gedateerd. Wel goede goede bedden en vriendelijke eigenaren. Verder weinig comfort door gedateerd meubilair en verdere inrichting. Okk badkamer en wc niet schoon en zijn toe aan een opknap beurt. Het huisje ligt aan een doorgaande weg waardoor er over dag veel verkeerslawaai is. 's nachts is het er stil.

Feines kleines Häuschen, mit einigen hübschen Details, wunderbaren Betten und gemütlichem Kamin.Einzig die Landstrasse direkt hinter dem Haus ist unter der Woche sicher für empfindliche Gäste störend .
