About this property

Charming new cottage in a farmhouse in Lurs between Luberon and Verdon

At the foot of the picturesque and typical Provencal village of Lurs with its panoramic view of Lure and the Durance, the Mas des Méras gîte is ideally located for exploring the Provencal hinterland between Lubéron and Verdon, sea and mountains.
It is a new charming rental (T3) in a Provencal farmhouse restored in the quiet countryside with all the comforts for a successful holiday. Nearby nature activities (swimming, hiking, golf, horse riding, canoeing, paragliding, ...) or tourist discoveries (Aix-en-Provence, the Gorges du Verdon, Roussillon, the Alps, the sea with Marseille 1 hour away) ....
It is on the ground floor and has a large 50 m2 terrace and a private garden equipped with a garden furniture and deckchairs to enjoy the sunshine but also the beautiful summer evenings. The late season is quite pleasant and its exposure allows you to enjoy almost all year round this terrace.

* Description: The large gite T3: 85 m2 (4/6 people + baby):
It consists of - a large living room with fitted kitchen, dining room, living room of 50 m2 served by an entrance (pantry and large closet),
                          - a bathroom with its basin and its walk-in shower,
                          - WC,
                          - a beautiful staircase leads to 2 bedrooms of 11 m2 each upstairs, each equipped with a large closet.
The sleeping arrangements: 1 bedroom with 2 80x200 beds and 1 bedroom with 1 160x200 bed, in the living room a "Rapido" convertible (real sleeping mattress (160x200): quality bedding.
Equipment: dishwasher, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, ...)
LCD TV, WIFI and Ethernet internet.
Reversible air conditioning in all rooms.
In the bathroom: large walk-in shower, sink, blowing towel dryer, washing machine, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, .....

In the garden: garden furniture, deck chair, parasol, shade, plancha ....

The owners do not live nearby.
Another 2/4 person gîte is nearby: each gîte is independent.
Unfenced and shaded gardens with parking spaces.
Simple and tarmac access to the property.

Possibility: Baby kit including bed, sheets, changing mat, high chair on request upon booking.

Option: beds made on arrival, bathroom and house linen to choose when booking for € 35.

Theme activity: 1 day "olivade": Within our olive plantation, we have the possibility of making you discover the picking of olives during the months of November and December in Weekend. You can participate in family pickup in our fields near the cottages and sorting the harvest. Tasting of the olive oil produced.

Moderne Ferienwohnung mit großem Garten und traumhafter Aussicht

Die Wohnung ist sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Schlafräume im ersten Stock sind hell und großzügig. Die Matratzen aller Betten sind neu und liegen vom Härtegrad im mittleren Bereich. Die großzügige Terrasse direkt vor der Küche lädt zum Essen im Freien ein. Und im Garten steht ein schattenwerfender Walnussbaum, unter dem man wunderbar den Tag an sich vorüberziehen lassen kann. Sollten wir wieder in dieser herrlichen Gegend sein, würden wir diese Wohnung sofort wieder buchen.

Entre oliviers et hirondelles

Le logement est confortable, propre, frais et spacieux pour trois adultes et deux enfants. L'agencement intérieur est lumineux et moderne. Il y a suffisamment d'espace de rangement et des produits de base (savon, papier hygiénique, assaisonnements,...) étaient disponibles à notre arrivée. L'emplacement est isolé et calme, l'horizon ouvert et superbe. Un olivier et un châtaignier nous assuraient une ombre bienvenue. La qualité de l'air regénère. À 8 km, se situe un lac de baignade familial. Chaque olivier a son histoire si on souhaite la connaître. Françoise et Gilles se sont montrés aussi cordiaux que discrets. Un grand merci à eux ! Die Fewo ist besser als erwartet, hat style und ist gut ausgestattet. Durch die traditionelle Bauweise war die Wohnung auch bei heißen Temperaturen immer angenehm kühl - auch ohne Klimaanlage. => sehr zu empfehlen. :-)

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus. Erhaltung des Landhausstils inmitten von sonnenblumenfeldern. An viele details gedacht und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sogar Spielsachen für die Kinder waren vorhanden.

Wir (3Erw+2Kinder, 11+6J.A.) waren Ende März 2018 in diesem Haus zu Gast. Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, Haus vor kurzem renoviert, alles neu und gut durchgedacht. Strategisch gute Lage, nicht zu weit (3km) von der Autobahn, zwischen NP Luberon und NP Verdon. Nächste Einkaufsmöglichkeit (Supermarket) 3km. Dörfchen Lurs ca.2km, einen Besuch wert, klein & kompakt. Montags – Dorfmarkt in Forcalquier, lohnt sich zu besuchen. Unsere Ausflüge: Gorges du Verdon, Roussilion, Marseille + NP Calanques, Reserve Naturelle se Sainte-Victoire + Aix-en-Provence, Les Baux d.P. Generell: sehr passend für Familienurlaub, unsere Jungs hatten genügend Platz draußen. Danke.
