About this property

Direct Oceanfront w/ 2 Balconies, Pools & Sound Access w/fishing and boat slips

When you walk in the door, you will see this is not just a beach condo. It is also our family's beach home and you will find it so much more of a home than your standard beach rental! I have been vacationing in Atlantic Beach for the past 30 years so please feel free to ask any questions you have about the unit or area attractions. Prior to and during your stay, I will also be available by phone, text and email to answer any questions you may have.

When you arrive at the condo, you will find luggage carts and grocery shopping carts as well as an elevator to make moving into the condo simple and quick. There is a screened sitting area in the front and a separate laundry room that has a full size washer and dryer. The condo itself is newly painted and freshly decorated. Luxury plank flooring throughout with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, fully equipped kitchen, separate wet bar, oceanfront screen porch off the living room and a separate oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom. The master has a King size bed with a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom along with a private half bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bunkbed and a Full size bed. The couch in the living room also pulls out into a full size bed. There is a large TV in the living room and TVs in all 3 Bedrooms as well as the kitchen bar area. All the TVs have cable as well as Roku sticks. WIFI is included. In the living room you will also find board games, playing cards, puzzles, DVDs, books, etc.

From the front door of our condo you are literally 30 seconds away from putting your toes on the beach!

At one end of our building is a picnic area with tables and charcoal grills and at the other end is a swimming pool and gazebo overlooking the beach.

Underneath the condo is a storage room you will have access to which has beach chairs, umbrella, beach and pool toys, and outdoor games for the kids (and the grown up kids).

Directly across the street you have condo access to the pier and boatslips to keep your boat on the Bogue Sound as well as park your trailer. If you bring your boat, there is a public boat launch one mile away.

This condo is situated perfectly so you can open the doors, use the screens, and hear the ocean from almost any room. The rooms were furnished well, but the bathrooms need an update. The primary bath has a very small shower. And the handles in the second bath/tub shower were loose. With updated bathrooms, I’d give this a 5!

We had a great stay. Super easy beach access and plenty of restaurants and stores around. As mentioned in prior reviews, it needs a few small fixes and updates, like towel bars and a new outdoor rug. While the inside was clean, the balcony was gross, unfortunately, though per the owner it should have been cleaned. Everything was well stocked, and we appreciated the easy checkout (no requirements to wash all the towels etc like some other rentals). We would return.

Nice place.

The property was very clean and a great location. Plenty of room. Each balcony is private. I was able to sleep in master bedroom with the outside sliding door open to hear the waves all night. Area was quiet and very little people. It was 2 weeks into the off season. TV in every room plus kitchen. Water pressure good. Cant say anything bad about it. Oh. Washer and dryer are in closet st vestibule and beach gear is in storage building under the buolding. Just a fyi. Will plan to stay again.

Nice weekend getaway spot!!

We overall had a good time. The biggest bummer was the elevator being out but that was not in anyway the owners fault. We came a week after a hurricane that had caused the villas a good deal of damage. There was a good deal of interior updates for cosmetic purposes needed but it didn’t bother us one bit. Hands down the best customer service goes to Daniel! Anytime I had questions prior to our visit he had not problem getting back to me quickly and was eager to help in anyway possible. I will be checking out their other properties in the future for sure.

AMAZING HOLIDAY

We had a spectacular Holiday at this property. Oceanfront as advertised, with two balconies, easy access to the pool and the ocean; swam in the pool twice a. day, on the beach in stages from sunup to sunset and night time strolls along the ahore. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots pans and other necessities. The property is clean, with updated features, well maintained with easy access to the owner. Check in was a breeze, with detailed instructions and directions received ahead of time. We had a party of six adults, a four year old and an infant. There was ample room with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. We moved to N.C. 15 years ago and have spent every 4th of July at the beach because the 4th is my birthday. We have finally found a VRBO that meets and exceeds our expectations. We will make this an annual holiday at this wonderful oceanfront facility. Thanks Daniel!!!!

Great location

Daniel is very responsive on messaging and did great with suggestions of the areas and directions for the unit. The location on the island and beach are great. Close to everything you need and a quick access to the bridge. The unit itself was spacious enough for our family of 5 and had plenty of towels, dishes, bedding and necessities available. The unit is in need of some maintenance though. Many random nails sticking out of the wall, holes in the walls where the doorknobs have gone through, paint chipping and scuff marks. There is food splatter all behind the stove on the wallpaper and the stove fan is spattered and rusted. The cold air returns are rusted as well. The towel bars have come loose from the wall and are hanging by a thread. I would stay again if the maintenance was done.

Why they chose this property

You simply can't beat the view and access to the ocean. It's a family beach area so no huge crowds even during the summer months. And just across the street with pier, place to launch your kayaks and day slips to keep your boat. When we found this place for sale, we just knew it was for us!
