We loved our stay there. The house was beautifully furnished and we had everything we needed and more. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. The hot tub was fun, the beds were comfortable and the patio and outdoor spaces were absolutely gorgeous. The hosts were friendly and helpful on top of all that.

Dear Patty
It was a pleasure to have you guys and we hope that you return someday soon
I’m glad you enjoyed the fire pit and the beautiful deck out front
Sincerely

We had a lovely stay overall. We were a group of 4 adults and 5 kids and the house size suited us. The kitchen was well stocked the kids enjoyed the big yard to play in, and the adults enjoyed the deck with ample seating.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very peaceful and quiet with beautiful landscaping, with a path down to the Roaring Fork River and a beach area. The house is tastefully furnished and has everything you need, and everything you will probably forget at the grocery store! The house is 5-10 minutes from downtown, the Hot Springs and Adventure Park. We brought our ATV and rode some incredible trails up near Sunlight ski area, which was 20 minutes away. We met the owner Tim and he was very nice and let us know about the ATV and mountain bike trails nearby. We will definitely be back, and I’ll bring my mountain bike next time! Perfect place to stay in Glenwood! The hosts Tim and Jenny were also very responsive and friendly.
Everything about our stay was fantastic. The home, the grounds, the location, the river access, etc. There was also ample room for our family (2 adults and 5 children) and an abundance of great activities right nearby. Not only we will be back, we now have local friends in the hosts. We hope you enjoy this home and the hosts as much as we did.

What a wonderful place to getaway with our family. We loved the house and spending time on the front porch. Our dogs loved going down to the river. The proximity to the river can’t be beat. We will return!

Beautiful, quaint and immaculate home in the beautiful Colorado country-side.
Tim and Jenny have a beautiful little home that they've rehab'd! Lots of little touches that made our stay more enjoyable including a very nice bottle of wine and delicious dark-chocolate and Kona coffee blend that we enjoyed all weekend. New appliances, comfy furniture throughout, beautifully landscaped and nicely located.
This property provided us with a perfect stay to enjoy all of what Glenwood Springs has to offer!
If you need a place to stay in Glenwood Springs, look no further. My family and I visited Glenwood Springs to do some hiking, rafting and fishing and to escape the Houston heat and rain. This home is perfectly situated in Glenwood, only minutes to downtown GS. The owners, Tim and his wife are absolutely amazing. Incredibly warm and helpful and ready to provide whatever you may need, despite the home being thoughtfully and well-appointed with everything you could possibly need during your visit.

Property is great location. There is road construction at the main bridge wait thru and this can be a significant wait. Nothing to do with the property or the owner who was fantastic.

Thanks for the kind words about us as owners and the property. Happy to report the bridge is all new and traffic flows are not a problem

We showed up after a 14 hour drive to two cars in the driveway and an RV in the backyard. A man came out of the house and drove away, maybe the cleaning service? Another man came out of the RV then went back in. He did not speak to anybody from our party or explain who he was. There was fresh water in a bowl outside and dog toys in the yard. There is a stairwell, not just the steps to get down to the river. Owner has now posted that picture. The hoses were all over the walkway. There were no screens in the windows downstairs. Bugs behind the bathroom door. It was a hot day & no way to ventilate or try to cool it down w/out inviting bugs inside.I tried to call the host and his vm was full. We planned this trip for months and had to scramble to try and salvage a vacation and find someplace to stay. The propery has great reviews which we count on as well as photos when we book our vacation homes. There is a photo which depicts chairs in front of the river view and we could not see the river from the yard or the house. There is a house next door to the front porch you can’t see in his photos. The hot tub and fire pit are both on the side where the car was parked & where the RV is.The stairwell is overgrown, couldn’t even get down without hair pulling.
Jenny and Tim have lived in the Colorado Rocky Mountains small town of Glenwood Springs for over 30 years. They have come to love this property that sits a stone throw away from the Roaring Fork River. They have always enjoyed being host and are excited to offer this recently remodeled cottage home with its tasteful design and finishes. This 1.5 acre retreat has easy access to downtown by bike or hike via public trail adjacent to the property. We want guest to enjoy the quiet neighborhood and casual living with easy access to fishing, skiing, hiking or both Mountain/Road biking. We look forward to your stay. Enjoy!
Why they chose this property
River access and large lot for family and friends. Will allow small events with notice. Very private setting and quiet neighborhood (only 11 homes on dead end street) plus 5 minutes from downtown Glenwood Springs!
What makes this property unique
This property and location is the quintessential retreat for relaxation and fun. Enjoy the spacious yard and fire pit plus easy access to river fun or skiing. On site we have ladder ball and badminton to play in the front yard. Or hang out on the deck with a good book.
