Welcome to Forever Poinciana!

Welcome to Forever Poinciana! This old style Ft Lauderdale home under went an extensive two year renovation to provide a resort like setting complete with heated pool, spa, and fire pit. The pool consists of a sun lounge area and hot tub with gas fire bowls accenting the hot tub and waterfall. The huge loggia has a table that will seat 10, a lounge area with Sunbrite TV, outdoor grille, pizza oven and wet bar. A portable beverage center is perfect to wheel out to the pool area for those long lazy days in the sun. This 3000 sf, 2-story 5 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath home was completely redesigned in a contemporary style that is bright, clean, open, and extremely attractive, with beautiful porcelain floors and designer furnishings. The open living room has a giant 55" flat screen mirror/TV, lots of seating, and adjoins the professionally equipped kitchen and breakfast/beverage bar. The kitchen includes all the latest in appliances including a built in coffee maker, ice maker, beverage center, wine refrigerator, dual oven and warming drawer. Great for entertaining.

The two master bedroom suites are spacious and opulent, with king-size beds and bathrooms to match, each with luxurious rainfall showers. Each of these bedrooms open to a large private sun deck. Bedrooms three and four have either a king-size or a queen-size bed and attached private bathrooms. Both have French doors opening to the pool area. Bedroom five is a queen suite with its own separate exterior door and private bath with a tub. All bedrooms include a flat screen TV.

The backyard is something special. There's a beautiful heated pool, perfect for a refreshing dip any time of day. The pool lounge area has four chaise lounges that you may set right in the water. Enjoy the endless parade of majestic yachts gliding by on the New River's calm waters. The large Royal Poinciana tree provides great shade and is one of the largest on the New River. The large gas fire pit provides wonderful ambiance and a great place to enjoy an evening happy hour and/or engaging conversation. Another bar height table and chairs by the pool provides nice seating for any occasion. And don't forget the gazebo/bar with refrigerator/ice maker and 55" TV. A great place to watch the game.

There is off street parking available within the gated courtyard for 5 to 6 vehicles (no parking is permitted on the residential street).

Fort Lauderdale is a world famous vacation destination, with miles and miles of gorgeous sandy beaches and endless opportunities for fun in the sun, including boating, jet ski and paddleboard rentals, scuba & snorkeling, or just laying out and soaking up the tropical sun. The Strip is a popular ocean-side promenade filled with restaurants, bars, and clubs that are packed every night of the week and alive with energy. The very upscale Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale is just a mile away via car, boat, or bike. Fort Lauderdale is known as the Venice of the USA with its endless miles of canals and rivers to explore. This is a South Florida vacation entertainment destination!

All linens, towels, beach towels and beach chairs are provided. There is a Pac and Play and high chair at the house for the babies. There are six beach bikes there for your enjoyment as well as many other beach toys, coolers, etc.

House Rules:
1) As the responsible party and primary occupant of this rental, you must be 25 years or older.
2) Once you have reserved this property online, we require the following:
a) The responsible party will sign a rental agreement, which includes filling out a list with names and ages of all occupants (this will be emailed to you).
b) The person responsible for the credit card payment will be required to email us a photo of their drivers license or passport.
3) No special events or parties are allowed. This is a quiet residential neighborhood and parking on the street is prohibited.
4) No pets are allowed.
5) There is absolutely no smoking inside the house. Smoking is permitted on the loggia, upper deck or outdoors.
6) Outdoor cameras are installed throughout the property for your added security and protection.

Our second year celebrating our mother’s birthday and the house was just what we needed. A little cold on our visit but the inside is just as comfortable as the outside. Beds are super comfortable and hot tub was used daily! Kitchen has everything you could possibly need. We are looking forward to booking next year!!!

Perfect for or vacation

The outdoor area had all we could ask for and more. Beautiful pool, hot tub, loggia with tv, Adirondack chair on the dock for reading or watching the boats go by, and that big dining table and pizza oven! Inside, the bedrooms had plenty of space to spread out and an en-suite in each room was ideal. The kitchen was amazing. It was the perfect house for our family vacation. Thank you for sharing it with us!

The house itself was beautiful and had a lot of potential, but several issues prevented this from being a better experience.There was no one present to greet us upon arrival contrary to what we were told, which made check-in feel unorganized. The outdoor pool furniture was dirty and did not appear to have been cleaned before our stay. We also encountered bugs in the kitchen and in the downstairs bedrooms, which was unpleasant.Several amenities did not work properly during our stay. The dishwasher was not functioning when we arrived and was not repaired until four days into our stay, which was inconvenient. In addition, the TV in the inside living room never worked, nor did the TV in the pool area.Communication with the host was a bit lacking, as responses were not very helpful when issues were reported. With improved cleaning, maintenance, and more responsive communication, this could be a great rental. Unfortunately, these issues impacted our overall experience.

Relaxing Stay

The house was exactly as described. We had 3 families share this house and it was perfect. Plenty of room for everyone to have space but great gathering space for everyone to come together. Jay is super responsive if anything comes up. The house has a ton of technology so be sure to bring a teenager with you lol. We hope to be back and would absolutely recommend this property.

Mother’s 83rd birthday

Every year for 8 years my brother and I come down and celebrate my mom’s birthday with our family. It has taken that long to find the exact right place and now we have found it! This house was perfect for 5 adults and we enjoyed a relaxing time using the loggie, pool area and all it’s amenities. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen had enough of everything and of a good quality. The beds were comfortable and the furniture throughout the house was comfortable as well. I can’t say enough good things, already booked for next year!

We recently stayed at a fantastic property on the river in Ft. Lauderdale, and it was an amazing experience! The location is perfect, offering beautiful views and the fun of watching yachts pass by. July 7 - July 12, 2019 Houston's Family Vacation

This house was truly beautiful, elegant, and top of the line classy on both the inside and outside. You have to see this house in person because the pictures doesn't do justice. Sitting out back by the pool watching the big boats come by was priceless. We were all very impressed with this home, and will definitely be returning just so we can stay here. Jay, the property manager was great and made sure that we had everything we needed. This was by far one of the best vacation experiences we've had yet. My husband's 50th birthday was a complete success!!!

Perfect venue for friends, family, or a small sailing team

Location was ideal, a new tie up wall on the Tarpon River and a short (20 mins) boat ride to Pier 66. The place comes with a1/2 dozen cruiser bikes so a 10 minute ride to Lauderdale YC. Otherwise, a short car ride puts you on the beach, Las Solas, or Publix in less than 10 minutes. Our group of 7 stayed for 2 weeks and our chef remarked that it was one of the better appointed rentals she had worked in, all appliances were of good quality and fully operational. The outdoor wood fired pizza oven was a big feature. After a brutal day on the race course the pool and hot tub were popular. The grounds and furniture were well maintained and pleasant. Jay and Zack were friendly and responsive. I would happily rent this site again 2 thumbs up!

Wonderful house and location

Our family stayed here for a week over Thanksgiving, and it was a fantastic experience. Jay Harris, the property manager, was organized, professional, and very responsive and patient with various questions we had throughout the week. The house itself was very well-appointed with bikes, big joe pool floats, large TVs everywhere, etc. Plenty of space for a large gathering. Control4 smart home system. Hanging out in the pool and hot tub and watching the yachts and tour boats go by felt like lifestyles of the rich and famous. The place is a short drive/moderate walk to a cute coffee shop. Easy drive to the beach, Los Olas, grocery shopping, etc. Highly recommend! The house has lots of bells & whistles, so be sure you read the book when you get there on how to use everything. The only cons I have are: 1) the entrance to the property has concrete walls and makes it so you can't see whether anyone is coming up the street as you pull out of the driveway. (Not a huge deal - the street is not busy. Plenty of people out walking so it doesn't feel deserted, but I'm not sure we ever saw another car on it) 2) The property has a boat slip and you have to be ok with the boat owners coming and going. Not a problem for us. We only saw them once and they were unobtrusive. Just something to be aware of when booking.

Fabulous Vacay

This house is perfect. It literally has everything a family with active teenagers could want - fantastic pool and hot tub, kayaks, bikes, and fishing - minutes from Las Olas Shops and beach. The house is gorgeous. There was so much space, and the sound proofing in the house really allows everyone to be on their own schedule without disturbing others. The outdoor area was so much fun, and the outdoor speakers were appreciated. We had so much fun at the house that we didn’t really need to go anywhere. Very well appointed. Plenty of towels. Lots of spices already provided. Can’t wait to return!!

Spring Break in Ft. Lauderdale

All were impressed with the outdoor area , everybody enjoyed relaxing by the pool and enjoyed the hot tub. Property manager was very accommodating. The five bedrooms and five baths were a blessing. We would rent this home again.

Jay was great to work with. He was very accommodating and helpful during our entire stay. Communication was on point, and it was a seamless process from checking in to check out. He was also able to accommodate a late check out for us, which was very helpful as I know this sometimes is granted. Our family and friends enjoyed all the amenities available during our stay as well as watching all the boats go by each day! Kitchen was amazing. Spacious rooms. It was perfect! I highly recommend trying this beautiful home out on your next vacation to the Fort Lauderdale area.

Why they chose this property

Forever Poinciana is our second home. After years of looking for that perfect property, we came across this wonderful waterfront home on the New River. The large Poinciana tree on the waterfront was the deciding factor blooming from May-August. The property also has a mango tree, lemon tree, lime tree, olive tree, avocado tree and banana trees. All fruit is there for your consumption when in season.

What makes this property unique

Tarpon River is a very quiet community in Ft Lauderdale yet it is very close to everything making it a great vacation destination.
