Modern meets Historic in this Downtown Ypsilanti 1860's loft. Located in the heart of Downtown Ypsilanti ("Ann Arbor's little sister"), where the streets buzz with culture, commerce and craft beer. You won't be disappointed with this uniquely-decorated apartment. The loft is full of personality with exposed brick, and large bedrooms with high ceilings and a few wonky doors. Located about a mile from Eastern Michigan University; 10 miles from U of M Stadium; and about 30 miles from Downtown Detroit.
Please note: There are 18 stairs leading to the apartment (no stairs in the apartment itself). Located in the middle of Downtown, there's a possibility of hearing sirens, loud music and/or street noise.

Positives: It was a satisfactory stay. Cute decor, parking was great, and the host was awesome. Things to watch out for: Watch out for the loiterers who repeatedly catcalled my girlfriend. While the shower was clean it was clearly the same tub from 1860 when the building was erected (could use a remodel, try bath fitters). A tv in the bedroom would be nice. A heads up on having a long stair walkup would have been nice.

Thanks again for staying Brian. I wish I could control what happens outside of the Downtown apartment, so hopefully your girlfriend just ignored them. Btw, I want to make sure all of my guests are capable of using the stairs, so for clarity, I included pictures of the stairs (going up and down) in my listing. You may have missed that.

Our stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The host went above and beyond with thoughtful touches, including a wonderful selection of wine and snacks waiting for us when we arrived. The property was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a good nights rest. We woke up to a farmers market right outside. We couldn't have asked for a better host or experience—we would love to stay here again! The neighborhood was so welcoming and lots of little shops.

This place is adorable and cozy. It is also so well stocked with thoughtful amenities, snacks, and extras. I was able to cook a full Christmas dinner in the kitchen, which is a rarity for vacation rentals. The host was quickly redponsive and very helpful and warm.
