Beautiful Retreat

The property is beautiful and secluded from the hustle and bustle. The family running it are working hard to make improvements to the property and I think they will enhance the overall experience. If there were any negatives, the wifi signal didn't work. It wouldn't have been an issue but we didn't have a Verizon signal either so it wasn't as relaxing of an experience because I was worried about work (I work at an emergency response company and being disconnected is difficult). On the other hand, it made us try to enjoy a weekend disconnected. I look forward to seeing how the resort evolves as they start implementing improvements.

Thank you for stay with us. I deeply apologise for the WiFi, it has been a huge struggle. I am looking at some other options, namely satellite internet as well as a Verizon booster. We look forward to hosting you all aagain in the future. We still have many openings this summer or email me to prebook for next year. Stay tuned for more improvements as we are on a 5 year plan to upgrade all trouble spots BUT will not change the over all theme and feel. :) hope to see you soon!

There was only one problem, we had no Television programming. Could only watch Tapes. I like to watch local news programming in the morning.

We wanted a quiet getaway with family and our dog, and Musky Joe’s was perfect. We appreciate this family-owned property that is exactly as advertised: simple, beautiful, and fun.

Great quiet spot on the lake

Our stay was great. Brought dogs and had lots of quiet relaxing time + fishing. Great Experience.

Summer Camping Trip

Wished there was fire pits by each cabin. There wasn't WiFi available as stated online. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay. There was kayaks & boats with easy access to the lake. They didn't have a sandy beach area, but have recently changed owners, that are attempting to make changes.
