In the heart of the historical center of Avignon, apartment ideally located (Rue Grande Fusterie) near the Palais des Papes and near the Pont d'Avignon, museums, theaters, shopping, food, pharmacy and all amenities. Completely renovated in 2017, it has all the necessary to comfortably accommodate 4 people.

Great stay

The apartment had everything I needed. It was close to the heart of Avignon and about 500m easy walk to the supermarket. I rented a car and utilised the free parking on the Island that Franke recommended. It was so easy and the bus transports you for free to the gate just around the corner of the apartment. Note that this apartment is on the 4th floor and has no lift. However the balcony makes up for this 🤗.

Tolle Wohnung mit kleinen Macken

Die Lage der Wohnung ist großartig, mit direkter Sicht auf dem Papstpalast. Ruhig, hell alles fußläufig zu erreichen mit schönem Balkon. Anreise und Empfang durch Franck waren sehr gut. Allerdings könnte die Wohnung ein Auffrischung gebrauchen. Einige Türen schließen z.B. nicht, die Tischplatte ist völlig verdorben, die Spülmaschine bedarf besonderer Sorgfalt, das Besteck fällt auseinander.

Gute Ausstattung

Insgesamt ist es eine gute Ferienwohnung. Die Treppe in den 4. Stock ist relativ eng, Super wäre, wenn neben der Nespresso Maschine auch noch eine normale Filter-Kaffeemaschine vorhanden wäre.

L'appartement proposé par Franck, est un pied à terre idéal pour découvrir la belle ville médiévale d'Avignon : spacieux, lumineux, très bien agencé et équipé et extrêmement bien placé. Nous avons apprécié le calme de la résidence et de la rue bien qu'en période de festivités de fin d'année. Encore un grand merci à Franck pour son acceuil et sa gentillesse pour le foulard oublié. En résumer, c'est une adresse à conserver précieusement en vue d'une prochaine escapade

Just as I pictured it.

So the booking says May of 2021, but because of Covid, we had to push it off towards the end of November, and before our flight vouchers ran out. The apartment worked out great for my wife and I, but It might get tight with extras sleeping on the couch, which is where you watch the TV. Yes, fourth floor, no lift. We shopped for groceries at the Monoprix down town, and ate in every night but our last. Interesting time to come to the south of France. We rented a car at the TGV for 2 days and drove through the Luberon region the 1st day and Pond du Gard & Arles the second. I can imagine that the region is crawling with tourists in the summer, but in November we pretty much had both days to ourselves. The unfortunate part is that 90% of everything is closed this time of year. Restaurants, boutiques & shops, etc.. The sites were great, and the food better. Franck, we had a great time. Ruhige Lage in der Altstadt von Avignon

Hübsche Ferienwohnung nahe am Papstpalast (5 min zu Fuß). Ruhig und sauber. Check in und out vollkommen unkompliziert. Beschattung für Terrasse wäre vorteilhaft. Sonst sehr empfehlenswert!

Friendly communication & wonderful appartment

We spend two days/ three nights in Avignon and really enjoyed our stay. The appartment is close (easy walking-distance) to the important sights and places in the historic centre and the view from the balcony over the city is magnificent. Also it has a well equipped kitchen for the folks, who enjoy relaxed evenings with homemade pasta and wine (which pairs quite well with the balcony, too). The communication with Franck from Week Where was always friendly and easy, he provided us beforehand with all the important information, which made for an absolutely stressless and pleasant experience. To sum it up: We absolutely enjoyed our stay in the appartment and would happily come back another time.

Near everything, quiet and comfortable

This apartment is really cute. It is equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Air conditioning was super during the heat wave, a washing machine to catch up on laundry a small but fully equipped kitchen to fix your own meals whenever you like. The balcony is a super spot in the morning and evening. The apartment is in walking distance to all the sites of Avignon. It is a very quiet spot, no noise to disturb a good night's sleep! I hope to stay here again on my next trip to Avignon.

Good apartment & location but the 4 flights of stairs up to it are a challenge with suitcases. Franck from week where was extremely helpful in tracking down the taxi that we left a small bag in & got it returned to us. 5 stars for service
