We had a wonderful experience staying at this Carolina Beach rental. The house was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making it feel comfortable and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. Everything in the home was straightforward and easy to use, from check-in to the amenities provided. The property was well-stocked, and it was clear that the owners take great care in ensuring guests have a pleasant stay.We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and stress-free beach getaway!

Overall this is a great property…close to the beach, upgrades to the kitchen were nice. The TV in the den had a huge crack in the screen that was only visible once the TV was on. I don’t fault the homeowner for not knowing about it because unless it is reported they wouldn’t know. But I reported it on the first evening we arrived and heard nothing from anyone about it during our entire stay. Whether that falls on the owner or the property manager I am not sure but it would have been nice for someone to do something. Also, TV’s were supposed to be in each bedroom, only 1 had an actual TV, the downstairs bedroom had a computer monitor with a ROKU stick. The other thing that I guess can’t be helped but isn’t great is that the view from the patio/balcony is the back of a diner where the employees go to smoke and talk about everyone, change their shoes etc. while mildly entertaining it isn’t what you expect from a balcony view at the beach.

The carpet needs to be cleaned! It smells especially when you go up the stairs to the third floor. You can smell it before you get off the stairs. The stair carpets were very dirty also. The bulb in the bathroom on the first floor was out and the toilets need to be cleaned. If you have older guests, the toilets are too low. Hard for them to get up and down. Dirty linen was left in a closet and the floors needed sweeping, very sandy. Would be nice if a broom, mop and dustpan were in the house in the future. The blinds in the first bedroom had some missing slabs. Love the convenience of the beach being like a block away!!

Super convenient

The property was clean, spacious and really convenient! We walked to beach daily, to the community flea market and restaurants. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a convenient location with stairs (because the house is three levels).

Andrea, Thank you so much for taking the time to review your vacation spent with us. We apologize that you were not happy with the cleaning efforts. Your comments resulted in having us more thoroughly evaluate our cleaners and the end result was us moving on without the cleaning crew that serviced the property prior your stay and hiring a new crew. We hope that you will give us another opportunity and we have been very pleased with the current cleaning that is being done. Thanks again and hope to see you soon. CBR

Close to beach , 4br, 4 bath

Great location plenty of room, great having 4 bathrooms. One downside were the towels and not enough drinking glasses, wine glasses. Carpet and furniture showed some wear.

Beach Daze

Great property it was what we expected. Nice outdoor space minutes to the beach and comfortable and clean inside. The only very slight negative was minimal condiments, sugar spices, and there was one extra roll of toilet paper per bathroom and on roll of paper towels. You will have to buy more if needed. I would definitely rent again!

Hi Karl! Thank you for your review! We are pleased you enjoyed your stay. Carolina Beach Realty does not provide condiments and spices. We do provide a starter roll of toilet paper and paper towels for all of our properties. Any other disposable items are up to the renters to supply. We hope to host your vacation again soon!

Vacation Home July 2023 Carolina Beach

The property was very nice and in a very convenient location. However, it could have been cleaner. The oven was not clean which caused a problem when we tried to use it. The microwave did not work. The linens were dated.

Review

Lovely home with LOTS of closet/storage space. Loved having 4 bedrooms AND 4 bathrooms! I would recommend adding blackout curtains to the 2 back bedrooms. The LED street light in Granny’s Kitchen parking lot was VERY bright! Also might want to consider replacing some towels, they seemed old and worn. But overall it was a great week!!

Duplex

Great location…short 2 blocks to the ocean. House was clean and we felt secure in the area. Description was accurate. Parking was outstanding! Would suggest bringing more towels and washcloths as each guest only had one of each plus a hand towel. Bathrooms didn’t have bath mats which could pose a falling risk on wet floors. One bedroom didn’t have pillowcases and no other linens were available in the house. Open stairs to the 3rd floor which would be scary with small children. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we enjoyed the duplex.
