This property was great, it’s really clean and very convenient to all the places we went. Alan was a great host can’t recommend this place more. We will definitely be staying again when in the area.
Cutest place I've ever seen. Felt like I was in a little fairy tale. Very clean and decorated so nicely. Took our 13yo dog and she loved exploring the yard. The 3 decks were cozy for breakfast time.
Very nice accommodations and a perfect location for our weekend plans. We were very comfortable and had no issues and only a great, comfortable stay. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!
It was everything we needed.
After a great day of digging for crystals we had the choice of go out to eat or cook something at the house.
I truly enjoyed my morning, coffee on the porch.

We really liked this property, it was just as the listing shows. Alan was very easy to communicate with and everything was clean and went smoothly. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in My. Ida. Shack Attack pizza is only a few blocks away and was delicious. Dairyette has good ice cream as well!
Comfortable home with plenty of outdoor space for our dog to play. Short walk to downtown Mt. Ida with restaurants and shops Close to tons of recreation and gem mining areas. Alan is a super host -- fair, trustworthy and accommodating. The view from the front porch is magnificent and there is a park to walk the dog across the street. We will definitely return.
There isn't enough space to type our thoughts!!! I am not one to give perfect marks!!! Not to be rude but we are talking about something being perfect. Although I will give 110 % prefect here. There was everything available that anyone could possible need. The house has been very well maintained, Very peaceful & private location. The water pressure was the best anyone could ask for. There was nothing - Not one thing that could have been better. We already talked about scheduling our next trip.Thank you for making our stay great.
We went for a couple of days getaway. Very clean and spacious property with a lovely yard for our little dog. The bed situation could be better. Only queen sized beds, and one twin and the mattress was hard. The kitchen is not very well equipped. No toaster, and minimal dishes and pots and pans. There is no wifi, which was a bit of an issue for me since my AT&T phone service was spotty and I had a Zoom meeting. The house is as advertised and spotless.
Everything was as expected. Older house in good shape, very nice. Pictures match the experience. There was no communication with property manager and there was no need, except there was only a roll and a half of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms, no extra, 4 people for 2 nights. Overall very satisfied.
Everything was great about the cottage except for one thing. There was dog feces in one of the bedrooms. We didn’t use that room so it was fine but it definitely should have been cleaned prior to us arriving. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.
Cute little house in downtown Mt. Ida, everything was as advertised and had a nice stay. Was great location for Crystal Diggers (why we we're here). You are within 5-10 minutes of numerous dig areas. House was clean. Check in/out was easy. Nice patio.
Rental was exactly as described and the pictures do not do justice how cute this historic home is.
No frills and bells and whistles, no wifi if that’s a deal breaker for you, but the house was clean and comfortable.
Close driving distance to several quartz crystal mines if you’re looking for a convenient place that isn’t too expensive
We brought our two grown children and 2 dogs to spend a long weekend boating on Lake Ouachita and riding ATVs in Wolf Pen Gap. The house was a perfect location for both areas!
The yard is not fenced, but was great for our two old dogs and there is a half mile walking trail around a park just across the street.
The house has good space and is well equipped. There are restaurants and a grocery store within a couple minutes drive.
All in all, a very nice stay!
