Creekside Cabin On Wooded Property

Welcome to Beech Creek!

Beech Creek is a charming, handsome 2BR/2.5BA, mountain cottage nestled privately on a large wooded property, bordered by Beech Creek, a rushing, fishable mountain creek! Relax on the covered front porch or the rear open-air courtyard and enjoy the sounds and sprays of Beech Creek, which is only a few feet away.

*Allows pets with an additional fee

The main level offers an open floor plan with hickory floors, soaring vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, and plenty of windows letting in lots of natural sunlight. The great room features a floor-to-ceiling, stacked stone, gas-log fireplace, comfy furniture, and glass doors that lead out to the creekside courtyard, which boasts the circular, stone, wood-burning fire pit, outdoor grill and dining, and a hot tub. Indoors, the dining table seats six guests comfortably. The adjacent kitchen offers leathered granite counters with a large, stainless, under-mount sink, custom Shaker-style cabinetry, and stainless appliances, and a gas cooktop. The laundry closet and half bathroom are also on the main level.

The creek-facing side of Beech Creek Cabin boasts a long covered porch with rocking chairs. The rear stone courtyard features a beautiful, round, stone, wood-burning fire pit, a gas grill and outdoor dining table, and a brand new hot tub. All are just a few feet from the roaring waters of Beech Creek!

Also on the main level is the king-bed master suite with a private ensuite full bathroom, customized with a double granite vanity, and a large tile step-in shower. The bedroom itself has wood floors and tongue-and-groove wood ceilings, a king bed, a leather armchair, and HD Smart TV. Upstairs is another suite, with a log-framed queen bed, an alcove with an armchair, perfect for reading and relaxing, and a cozy sitting area with a full-sized sleeper sofa and large HD Smart TV. There is also another full-sized aerobed in the closet for additional sleeping options. The owner prefers the sleeper sofa and aerobed accommodate only one guest each, making this house comfortable for up to 6 guests.

Beech Creek Cabin offers central heat and air conditioning, WiFi internet, digital cable TV programming on both smart TVs, and a washer and dryer. Pets are permitted, dogs only. Standard pet fees apply.

There is plenty of outdoor fun at Beech Creek Cabin. The creek itself is a large, rushing creek that is a result of the snowmelt and natural springs on Beech Mountain and is fishable as long as you are properly licensed and follow all seasonal rules and restrictions. There are walking and hiking trails nearby, and both Watauga Lake and Watauga River are a short drive away. The towns of Boone and Banner Elk are both less than 15 miles away. Blowing Rock is about 24 miles distant. Valle Crucis is only 13 miles away and the Tennessee line is only about 7 miles away, with Watauga Lake only a few miles past the TN line. Beech Mountain Ski Resort is less than 10 miles away and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is about 16 miles distant. Appalachian Ski Mountain is about 24 miles away. Hawksnest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines is about 26 miles away. You are conveniently close to all the High Country has to offer, yet nestled away on a peaceful, creekside slice of heaven when solitude is your preference.

Wonderful Stay
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was just as advertised. We had plenty of paths to explore and walking to do. I really appreciated the high-end appliances-love to cook!! Listening to the water flowing outside while sitting near a fire in the fire pit was a perfect way to relax. We will definitely return.

A Lovely Retreat
This little cabin is charming and comfortable. I have NO idea what that last reviewer experienced, but it was extremely clean and well maintained for our visit. The cabin is 30-40 minutes from a grocery store, so make sure you bring your essentials. The creek is beautiful and a lovely thing to wake up to. It is not a “fishing creek” but there are a few public access areas nearby. I can imagine the creek by the house is a perfect little swimming area during the summer as it has a few calmer and deeper (3 feet) areas. The campfire is lovely but you need to purchase wood at the grocery store as we didn’t see any that was provided. I’d also recommend bringing some skewers for marshmallows! They provide a dog bed in the closet and my golden retriever gave it a 10/10. You are fairly close to the Mast general store and annex, so it’s definitely something to check out. Over yonder is also a wonderful restaurant that isn’t too far from the cabin. Make sure you follow the directions you are sent because your phone will take you father up the mountain than you need to go. There are a few houses under construction next door so it is a bit loud from time to time, but it’s not too bad. Check in is a little late in the day for my taste but we made due and spent some time at Grandfather Vineyards. They usually have live music and it’s also 30-35 minutes away from the cabin. The hot tub could use a step stool but no other complaints at all! 100% would recommend for your mountain vacation.

Disgusting! The reviews have got to be fake!
I don't know how all these reviews say this house is wonderful and clean... If your nose doesn't work and you are fine with animal and human hair this is the place for you! Would never recommend to a family or anyone for that . The house is 40 minutes away from anything on a very curvy road no cell phone service. The company will tell you stuff is 3 miles away because they are using a starting point 30 minutes away NOT a starting point of the actual cabin. The house smells like wet dogs. My husband could probably sleep anywhere and he didn't like it. The couch is piled full of dog hair and all over the pillows. The refrigerator had dog hair and human hair all in it and some sticky stuff that Lord knows how long it was there. Nothing in this house was cleaned the counter was wiped you could see just around everything not under it because you could see the dust. I felt gross the minute I walked in with the horrible smell that hit you. The hot tub was dirty wasn't cleaned. The porch and patio area have never seen a broom and not as big as the pictures make it out to be. The hair in the shower was a great added bonus. The lights bulbs are so dim you cant see anything its very weird lighting. The property management they are so helpful with their automated answers no real concern you just dropped all this money to come stay in a nasty cabin. The dog hair in the bed room that was piled up in the corners was just unbelievable. I have pictures too so they can't say I'm lying. The housekeeping leaves a little envelope on the Counter in case you wanna give them a tip for a job well done. The envelope they left was even dirty. I would hate to see the people's house that clean this and stayed here saying it was so clean! The creek is a rushing creek not a small little stream so it's not something kids could get into the pictures make it look alot different. We stayed two nights and I had enough so we left and booked another cabin (which was just as gross) I doubt they will refund any of my money because they truly don't care they just want to rent them and after that you are on your own. The guy I was emailing about how gross the cabin was got me confused with someone else and called me and when I told him who I was he said " oh, have a nice week". What the heck????!!!! I couldn't believe it. I do not recommend this company or this cabin. You've been warned! ⚠️ Good Luck
