This affordable vacation cabin rental is the ideal place for a nice relaxing, peaceful getaway. Mountain Magic is both cozy and comfortable, with modern style, and decor.

Mountain Magic has a lot to offer. From a lazy hammock in the yard, the outdoor hot tub with glassed-in deck to soak in the stars, to cozy furnishings around the fireplace. Enjoy a cup of tea, morning coffee or an evening glass of wine in the sun room, sure to hit the spot. Take a walk around the mostly fenced-in and mostly level property and enjoy the artistic old painted barn, which houses your beloved farm animals. We ask that you feed our farm animals yummy produce.

Our acreage next to "Mountain Magic" is home to:

2 Miniature Donkeys (Annabelle & Sweetie Pie)
1 Potbelly Pig (Heather)
5 super sweet goats (Priscilla, Kiwi, Ginger, Jasper & Snowball)
and maybe a couple others...

You will absolutely fall in love with the animals! Everyone does, so don't say you won't. No, you are not responsible in any way for them, but feel free to pet them, feed them and enjoy their company (they will absolutely enjoy yours!)

The upstairs loft is spacious and quaint, it has a swinging chair, perfect for reading a book in, a dresser, rocking chair and a King bed. The kitchen has all you need to create a home-cooked meal and is open to the great room for entertaining. Build a fire in the fireplace (BYO Firewood) and watch a movie at night. There is a bedroom on the main level with a Queen. After the evening is up, the bathroom has a charming Jacuzzi tub to relax in. The downstairs bedroom has a flat screen TV and a Queen size bed. You might want to sit on the covered porch and enjoy the sounds of nature and watch over the animals next door. Also the deck, just off the sun room would be a great place for grilling, lounging and enjoying the view of the rock waterfall.

Mountain Magic has been host to beautiful marriage ceremonies and it went so well that we are thrilled to offer this wonderful property as a wedding venue for your special day (must be approved in advance, of course)!

Mountain Magic is 15 minutes from the town of Boone in North Carolina's beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Home of Appalachian State University, plenty of restaurants (upscale to fast food), new breweries, antique shopping and everything you need while on vacation including an organic-based grocery store. Nearby attractions include Watauga Lake (everyone forgets how close this wonderful lake is!), Tweetsie Railroad in Blowing Rock, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Sugar Ski Mountain, Ski Beech, (ALL THREE SKI RESORTS AND HAWKSNEST (snow tubing only) ARE LESS THAN 35 MINUTES FROM THE CABIN), new Zipline and ropes courses, whitewater rafting, gem mining, The Blowing Rock, historic Valle Crucis, lazy summer activities on the New River and so much more. Our area is truly a four seasons resort-type destination with easy access to all of the area amenities!
