Denali Wildlife Moose Cabin Luxury with a touch of Rustic
NEW BUILD READY for 2019 summer season! Denali Wildlife Moose Cabin,, just 10 miles north of Denali National Park and 3 miles south to our quaint town of Healy. We are a little over a mile off the Parks Highway, most of that private road - watch for the moose they will probably be standing in the road watching you. We sit tucked away on 27 wooded acres surrounded by state land, at the base of Mt Healy and Otto Lake. With the seclusion, tranquil privacy and the amazing panoramic mountain views you get the "Alaska Wilderness" feeling that so many people worldwide come to our beautiful state hoping to find. With great hiking and Otto Lake right out your door, the abundance of wildlife that comes thru at any given time,, moose, caribou, Alaska hare, red fox, wolves, bear, owls. Don't be surprised if your sitting on your deck taking in the awesome views in the evening and you hear a wolf howling or the sound of owls - hoot back at the owls and they'll respond! The Moose Cabin is one of several situated on our tranquil wooded acreage, all are studio style cabins themed after wildlife in Denali National Park, new and built this winter/spring. They are luxury with a touch of rustic, so whether you head down to Glitter Gulch to do some shopping, go out your cabin door on a wilderness hike, picnic by the lake or right on your deck. BBQ (we supply the charcoal and propane), or sit by the fire ring (firewood provided) relaxing, roasting marshmallows making smore's (supplies provided in the pantry :)), We designed and built our cabins with your comfort and relaxation in mind,,,,, each cabin has 2 plush queen pillow top beds, therapeutic pillows (that won't give you a neck ache) ceiling fans when you want that slight breeze in your room, Italian Tile and hard wood flooring, nice dining room table to eat on and play games on, kitchenette's that have microwaves, refrigerators/freezers, keurig coffee makers, toasters, sinks, dish soap and kitchen towels also a few other small kitchen appliances, but they DO NOT have stoves in them. They have big showers, soap, shampoo, conditioner and nice thick towels, I look forward to making your Alaska trip a relaxing, memorable one. I will email you detailed driving directions and the key code for the key-less entry key pad 30 days prior to your arrival

Cute and cozy cabin in a great location just up the road from Denali National Park. We really enjoyed the outdoor space with the grill and fire pit. Great place to stay for a few days!
We had a wonderful stay in Healy. The place is clean and tidy. Check in instructions and directions were clear and easy to follow. House was responsive, gave a great local recommendations and went above and beyond to help us during our stay. Would definitely stay again.
The best way to summarize our stay is :1. If we come back to the Danali area we for sure will stay at the Moose Cabin.2. If any of our friends/family members are visiting the Danali area, we will tell them they need not look any further - book the Moose Cabin
Beautifully appointed property, clean and welcoming. Very happy that it was located close to the ATV excursion. We did and 49 brewing Company restaurant where there was excellent food. Short drive to the park our host Lacie was very helpful!
Very comfortable place to stay, its off the main road and quiet. Just what we were looking for. The host was very helpful and had many accommodations. Its close to everything! Definitely would stay there again!
The host was great. Every detail was considered, even a mosquito zapper!! Saw several moose on the property, right from our front porch. Loved our stay. Would 100% recommend!!
We had a great short stay at this cabin located about ten minutes from the Denali NP entrance. It is in a beautiful setting away from the traffic and activity of Healy and Glitter Gulch, but just a short drive from amenities and the park. Highly recommend this location.
Cabin located conveniently to the park. Amenities were good and as described. Comfortable beds and nice clear views of the sky, unfortunately we didn’t get to see the aurora this trip.

Comfortable and cozy cabin in a very nice quiet setting. Rustic but very clean. Kitchen amenities were sparse. There is no working internet at present. Overall a good place to spend a few days close to Denali.
We enjoyed the location, clean accommodations and outdoor venue.

This s a response I received concerning the one star rating: Hello Lacie
You sent me an email with the following question:
"Hello Mary Ellen could you please tell me why you gave me 1 out of 5 stars? "
I am very sorry! I intended to give you the highest rating! My silly notion was that #1 was the best. The whole family really enjoyed our stay in all three cabins! Thank you!

Hello Mary Ellen,, thank you! 😊 I was worried because I really do try hard to make our guest have a REALLY great time here 😊 Thank you for the response.
Great base while visiting Denali national park. Peaceful area yet close to places to eat in Healy and near the park road. Cabin was clean, comfortable and well stocked. Thanks.
The cabin was great for our family of 4. Lacie was a gracious hostess and there were lots of little goodies for us when we checked in. The views were beautiful and the place was brand new!! Very convenient location to Denali. Restaurants and grocery were also a short drive.
This is a beautiful, secluded property within 10 minutes of the park entrance. Cabins are very nice, comfortable, and the amenities on property (especially grills and firepit) are perfect. Lacie has thought of everything, from big fluffy towels and pillows to coffee to supplies for s’mores. This was our second stay at this property and we’ll definitely be back.
The cabin itself was very nice. There were limited cooking facilities but we knew it and thus planned for it so it worked great. The BEST part was the views not only from the cabin but the long entry road and from the lake and the trail alongside the lake. We’d return if in this area again!
Staying in Moose Cabin was a real pleasure. We stayed for three nights so we could travel in and out of Denali National Park. The location was perfect for us because we prefer to be outside of the congested, touristy area. The cabin had everything we needed. It does not have a stove but there was a microwave, coffee and tea maker. There was also a gas grill and smoker in the common area if you really wanted to cook. We enjoyed a campfire with the neighboring renters. I would definitely stay there again if I ever get back to Denali.
A very nice secluded cabin. Clean. Looks newly constructed. Easy walking distance to private access to Otto Lake. Great view of mountains and of wildlife. Highly recommended.
This cabin in the woods is amazing! Cleanest place I've ever stayed! We appreciated that SO much after also staying in a place this same trip that is not this clean. The goodies offered to guests are very generous and thoughtful! If we are blessed to be able to return to Denali, we will definitely stay here! Thank you Lacie!

Hello! My name is Lacie and my husband is Andy. We moved to Alaska in Feb 2011 from Montana for Andy's job and to enjoy the outdoors sporting of hunting and fishing. We attend and I'm active in my church in Healy. I've worked internationally in the customer service/sales industry for over 18 yrs, God blessed me by putting so many awesome people in my life that made my travels amazing. I have always said when I was done traveling I wanted to open a business were I would still meet people from all over and make their travel memorable. Andy is a generational master builder (log and stick) by trade so when we moved here to Alaska everything started falling into place, God blessed us with our home that's on 27 wooded acres, surrounded by state land, at the base of MT Healy and sits on Otto Lake, feels so calming and peaceful. Perfect place for people to come see our beautiful state and get that "Alaska feeling" that they hope to find. IT'S TRUE "ALASKA IS THE LAST FRONTIER" there's nothing like it. come check it out, you'll be glad you did.
Why they chose this property
We bought this property because we enjoy the outdoors, being close to everything and yet we have privacy :)) the lake, hiking trails, the amazing views, being able to walk out on our deck and breathe in that crisp clean air with the peace and solitude that surrounds us ...... we live the Alaska dream every day :))) and we want to share it with you :))
What makes this property unique
We are unique and different because of were we are :) there are no neighbors except our other cabins, we are on 27 beautiful secluded wooded acres on Otto Lake with fishing, picnicking, hiking trails all right out your door, the views are amazing, you will get that Alaska wilderness feel you came here for and still only 3 miles from Healy with a Grocery store, restaurants a bank, health clinic, post office, auto parts store and churches. Then you go south about 8 miles to Glitter Gulch and you have more restaurants, gift shops that have everything you can want to buy for people back home and about 2 more miles your at the parks entrance ;)). You will love it here and I will be available to answer any questions..
