After 2 extremly succesfull long term rentals, the time´s come to welcome you in this generously proportioned 144 qm2 (1550 ft2) / 3 bedroom residence with nature views, located only 15 minutes by foot within a level stroll to the sand and surf of beautiful Sámara center/beach or 20 minutes walk to wild Buena Vista beach.

The floor plan encompasses 2 cozy bedrooms in the main house and one extra separate unit that can be used as a guest house or office with plenty of room for study, work and sleep. Two full bathrooms, and a sleek and stylish fully equipped kitchen that flows through to the dining room and private front patio.

Additionally, a 18 qm2 (194 ft2) pool with terrace and deck chairs, a washroom for storage, a private parking space and mosquito net doors and windows will be available for you during your visit. Of course, this residence is provided with AC units in all rooms, hot water in each faucet and fire detectors. A water softener system just installed in April 2024 will make sure that you, your family and friends can enjoy pure refreshing drinking water straight from the tap or bathing.

Spacious, clean house. Close enough to the beach and town to walk. AC in all the rooms and ceiling fans in all the outside seating areas made the house a nice oasis from the heat. Howler monkeys in the trees around the property was a nice touch!

Wonderful stay! Loved the location and the house is very comfortable and roomy. Easy charming walk to town and the beach. Beautiful charming area and Luis was a fabulous host, amazingly quick to respond and helpful with recommendations, etc. Great snorkeling at the north end of the beach near the house. Howler monkeys and all kinds of birds provided lots of entertainment. Loved the pool. Safe and comfy and very clean. I am 5 feet tall and the kitchen and bathroom counters are high, built for taller people, but this did not distract from my enjoyment of the property. Highly recommend.

Luis was very friendly and responsive. The yard is nice and big and the pool is deep and fun for the kids. The location is great - we didn't walk to the beach but it is a short drive with a lot of parking. Had howler monkeys, iguanas, and hummingbirds in the yard which was great. The yard and house could use some TLC vs. what was pictured. The doors to the house didn't quite seal so we had insects in the house, more than we'd expect, so that was not ideal. Other than that, the house was very clean. The yard could use some maintenance, especially compared to the pictures that we were expecting.

Home away from home

We truly enjoyed our time at this house in Samara. The host checked in with us on our stay to make sure everything was going well. When a remote control wasn’t working, they quickly had someone come out to fix it. The laundry washer and dryer were really nice to have. You can walk into town from here. We felt very comfortable and would happily stay here again.

Great location!

The location was absolutely great. The house was clean and well equipped. There were hammocks in the garden and a pool as well. The house is located 10 minutes away from the Samara beach by foot. But I’d also recommend Playa Carrillo which is 10 minutes away by car.

Location, location, location and very clean

Our family enjoyed ourselves at this beautiful property. Not only is it located in a great location, but the pool is a big hit for our daughter and friends. The ocean is a 7 minute walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Costa Rica. All in all, we love it here. Also a big thanks to our host, Luis, for checking in on us to make sure our stay in his house is comfortable and relaxing.

my name is Luis. I am an almost 40 years old Tico leaving abroad (US and currently Germany) for already more than 15 years. I have a beautiful family with a wonderful 3 years old daughter and a 9 years old dog "Alma". "Yes, that´s why the name of the property :) You might have the chance to see her in one of the frames is hanging in the house.
I work for a German corporation and was responsible for projects in the Latin America region till early 2021. Currently, I oversee projects in many African countries and part of the Middle East region. Because of work related reasons, I had to leave Costa Rica just before I was about to finish and move in into the house last April.

Why they chose this property

Why this property? First of all, because the house/home was made with unconditional dedication and love. Since it was originally thought to be for us, we designed it in a way so the house provides privacy, security, space and all the facilities an young family needs.

Evidence of our dedication, design and business concept throughout the pandemic and our first months of rentals, is the recognition we´ve got based on our cusotmer´s reviews! Our journey has been so blessed and successful that we have already reservations out to Oct 2022. So, come over and visit us! Give yourself and your loved ones an extraordinary time at Playa Sámara while enjoying your staying in our home.

The green view! There are not many places close to Sámara downtown where you can enjoy such a pleseant and relaxing view. Also during starry nights is the experience breathtaking chilling out in one of the hammocks at the front porch!
