Welcome to Villa Lucija - Kaštela (Trogir).

The town of Kaštela is located on the coast of the Bay of Kaštela. It has over 40000 inhabitants, and it is the second largest town in the Split and Dalmatia County. It stretches over the length of 17 kilometers.
The city of Kaštela has seven settlements – Kaštel Gomilica, Kaštel Kambelovac, Kaštel Lukšić, Kaštel Novi, Kaštel Stari, Kaštel Sućurac, Kaštel Štafilić.

The gorgeous liveliness of the bay will lead you to its heart, Kaštel Stari, a village rich with vegetation and one of the most beautiful of all seven picturesque Kaštela.

This villa with swimming pool consists of three apartments connected by internal staircase. Situated on a plot which is completely fenced. The interior is spacious and tastefully furnished. In total there are five bedrooms what is ideal for larger families or groups of friends. Villa Lucija is planned to accommodate 10+2 persons. The terrace on the first and second floor offers a panoramic view of the sea. If you do not want to go to a sandy beach (900 m), you can stay to enjoy the swimming pool. The nearest major city is a historic Trogir (UNESCO, 10 km), and we recommend a visit to Split (UNESCO, 15 km). Kaštela abundant entertainment and cultural amenities, beautiful promenades, restaurants and cafes and beautiful beaches.

We were a group of nine, and Lucija’s Villa was absolutely perfect – spacious, spotless, and well-equipped. The outdoor area with the pool and dining space was amazing, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably.Lucija was a fantastic and thoughtful host who made sure everything went smoothly. Perfect family getaway!

This was a fantastic home for our large family gathering. It was clean and full of all the amenities to comfortably accommodate a full week stay. Best holiday

Villa Lucija in Kaštel Stari was the perfect place for our family vacation. Each apartment within the villa is beautifully furnished and is well equipped, coming with all the appliances and utensils you may need during your holiday! There is also a variety of fresh fruit and vegetables growing in the gardens which we were able to try - they are delicious! The owner, Lucija, is very friendly and has been incredibly helpful to us during our stay. We had an amazing experience at the villa and the place deserves 10 stars!

Amazing beautiful villa

We had a great time at Lucija's villa. She welcomed us in such a warm way and was responsive and available throughout the week to answer our questions. The villa was perfect for 2 families travelling together as is offered plenty of space both inside and outside as well as privacy. We really enjoyed the pool and its surroundings with all the seating arrangements. Lucija's generosity and warmth made our stay very pleasant and memorable. Thank you again!

Pleasant stay

We had a very nice stay at the villa with three generations distributed across the three floors, 10 people in total. Very nice pool for both kids and adults, lots of options for shade (was quite hot during our stay) and fun stuff to do. All floors were nice to stay in with a central A/C to cool. Lucija, the host, was very responsive and fixed our issues with water and electricity very quickly. Only minor downside was that the relatively proximity to the airport meant a few airplanes that meant some loud moments. Recommended.

We have just returned from a week long stay at Villa Lucija and would give it 5 stars! The villa itself was spotless and Lucija and her family were perfect hosts. It is well located on a quiet street, 5 mins walk from 2 supermarkets and 20 mins walk from the centre (less than 5 mins in an Uber). We stayed as 3 families (grandparents and siblings with children between 1-7 years) and the setup of the villa was brilliant. We used the downstairs kitchen and had all our meals at the outside dining table - but then the separate apartments/floors really helped to calm down 4 excited children at bedtime and give us time to relax. We also enjoyed picking apples, limes, peppers and tomatoes from the garden everyday! Wouldn’t hesitate to return! Thank you :)

Best holiday in Villa Lucja

My family and friends spent a very nice holiday at Villa Lucja. On site we found everything we needed and even more. The villa is very clean, the garden is manicured, the pool is clean. After a hard journey, Mrs. Lucja and her mother welcomed us. They are incredibly nice and helpful people. Homemade bread and regional delicacies and cold drinks were waiting for us. We had the whole garden at our disposal, where olive trees, figs, grapes and even tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers grow. When I needed help, Mrs. Lucja helped me without any problems. She is a wonderful person with whom I would like to meet for coffee if possible. I highly recommend the town, Villa and of course Mrs. Lucja, mom and dad :-)

A fantastic stay at Kastela Stari.

Lucija and her family were truly perfect hosts. Our flight arrived late but they still welcomed us at the villa with happy faces, snacks and drinks. Which was really a great start to our stay in Croatia. It has been easy to communicate with Lucija both before and during the stay itself. She helped us with various tips on excursions and restaurants. She also helped us with contacts at a taxi company, which was helpful, and since there were 9 of us, we got to ride in a kind of van where everyone could fit. The house met the expectations we had and it was really well equipped with everything from crockery to ping pong rackets. At a distance of about 1 km, there are two grocery stores with a good selection, where we bought food for breakfast and various snacks. 3 in our party have celiac disease and there was also a perfectly ok selection for them. We could not be happier with the house, Lucija her familj and Croatia. Really recommend this villa.

Härligt boende

Vi hade en jättefin vecka på detta boende. Härligt med poolen och utemiljön där vi var mest. Huset var perfekt. att ha huset för oss själv med tre våningar. Luftiga rum fräscha badrum. Fördel att ha tillgång till bil. Värden Lucja och hennes föräldrar var mycket hjälpsamma och trevliga. Kylskåpet var fyllt med godsaker av dem. Ca 20 min gångavstånd till havet . Ca 10 min gångavstånd till närmaste affär. Vi hade en väldigt bra och fin vecka här och kan varmt rekommendera detta boende.

Fantastiskt hus och värd!

Vi var ett sällskap på 8 personer som hyrde huset. Vi fick ett varmt välkomnande av Lucija och hennes föräldrar, med dricka och lokala delikatesser. Dom visade oss runt och gav oss tips på aktiviteter. Huset och trädgården med pool var helt fantastiskt, allt man behövde fanns där. Ca 15-20 min promenad ner till staden och 10 min till närmsta butik och bageri. Dom dagar vi behövde bil ringde vi till det lokala taxibolaget som Lucija rekommenderade, som hämta och lämnade oss. Aldrig några problem. Split flygplats ligger ca 20 min med bil ifrån huset. Tack Lucija för din gästvänlighet och att du gjorde vår vistelse i Kroatien till en fantastisk upplevelse. Vi kommer varmt rekommendera huset till vänner och bekanta.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit

Bei der Anreise hat uns Lucija mit ihren Eltern sehr freundlich und mit einem Imbiss empfangen. Ein regionaler Rotwein und selbstgebrannter "Slivowitz" haben nicht gefehlt. Das Haus war sauber, die Klimaanlage lief und die Zimmer konnten sofort bezogen werden. Auch die vorab bestellten Kinderbetten standen schon in den Schlafzimmern. Da wir eine sehr heiße Zeit erwischt hatten, waren die Klimaanlagen den ganzen Tag über an und konnten den 1. und 2. Stock auf ca. 25 Grad kühlen. Highlight bei unserem Nachwuchs war der Pool, der jeden Morgen gereinigt und kontrolliert wurde. Als wir aufgrund eines Wespenstiches einen Arzt benötigten, hat uns Lucija per Mobilphone sofort geholfen und eine Taxi geschickt, der uns zum Arzt brachte. Nochmals herzlichen Dank für die schnelle Hilfe! Einen kleinen Vor- und Nachteil hat die Villa: sie liegt nahe am Flughafen. Fahrzeit rund 10 Minuten. Je nach Windrichtung liegt der Anflug tagsüber direkt über der Villa. Das stört Nachts nicht, für den Mittagsschlaf am Pool unvorteilhaft. Den Mittagsschlaf unserer Kleinen hat es nicht gestört! Insgesamt zu empfehlen!

Amazing stay!

We spent 9 days here with a group of 11 girls. We were given a tremendous welcome by Lucija with local snacks and drinks. The house itself is incredibly spacious with all amenities, it is a pleasure to stay here! Lucija also gave us a lot of tips for the surrounding area, which we certainly made use of. We ran into some small issues (out of Lucija's or the house's hands) and Lucija helped us solve them very quickly! She was always ready and responsive, so we didn't really run into anything. The cab driver Duje also took us everywhere often enough so that was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and the full service offered! We recommend it to everyone:)

We were 10 friends and we had a great stay there. As we came there the first time, the host waited there for us to show us the 3 floor villa. She prepared a plate with local food and Drinks to welcome us. We really enjoyed the pool and the rest of the garden. Both got cleaned every morning by the host. In addition there there are trees in the garden, with different fruits and there is a little kitchen garden with a lot of vegetables. On the first and second floor, you have a great view to the sea. If you watch to the other direction, you can see huge mountains, witch look spectacular as well. The villa is located in Kastel Stari. It is a nice little town located between Split and Trogir. We recommend visiting Trogir for sightseeing. Our Evenings we often visited Split. The nightlife there is very fun. There are several bars and clubs to visit and there is a nice promenade to relax. Our host recommended us a Taxi driver, he was reliable and always available as we needed him. In Addition it wasn't expensive to use his service. To conclude, we had a great stay there. The villa is perfect for 10 people. Its loated in a good spot, has a fantastic pool and a spectacular view and a host, who is always friendly and available for Information. You have to visit this villa as well!!!!

Perfect for 8 Norwegian ladies

Beautiful villa with a lot of space, very nice garden and pool area. The host was waiting for us at the villa and gave us the information we needed, and we also got a very nice meal with local food and drinks. It was a very hot week, so 10 min walk to the supermarked + 20 minutts to the beach was exhausting. Antonio (taxidriver) + his wife was driving us all week. Very, very good service. Very clean inside and outside, well equiped kitchens in the apartements. We will be back!

Great property, great location

We, a family group of 8 adults, have just spent two very enjoyable weeks at the Villa. The owner and his daughter Lucija met us when we arrived and had provided meat, cheese, bread, water, wine and more to welcome us. The Villa was clean and nicely furnished and contained everything we needed. The rainfall showers in the bathrooms were lovely....and used frequently! The pool was great and the sun loungers were comfy (there is plenty of shade too if you need to get out of the sun). Any questions we had during our stay were answered quickly. The vegetables we picked and ate from the garden were an added bonus. We used their recommended taxi to take us in to Split early one morning and he was very reliable. Location was handy for Split and Trogir and a short walk from a bus route to both if needed, though we hired a car. The coast was about a 15/20 minute easy walk and there were plenty of restaurants and bars there to choose from (we especially liked the food and cocktails at Sylo!). If we wanted to visit that area again we wouldn’t hesitate to re-book.

Great house

We felt very welcome as we checked in, the friendly host had prepared a fantastic buffet with wine at our arrival. The house was perfect for us, two families and 10 people in total. The house, pool and the garden are just as beautiful as it looks like in the pictures and we could pick vegetables to cook and eat every day. We had a great vacation and would like to come back. The only negative thing is the noise from the aircrafts taking off or landing at Split airport.

En dejlig villa med alt, hvad man behøver. Vi var 8 voksne og 4 børn (+ 1 i babyseng). Det fungerede fint! Poolmand hver morgen kl. 7 og en have med tilhørende køkkenhave, som vi måtte tage grøntsager fra. Luksus! Hvis vi havde nogle spørgsmål, kom Lucija og hendes far (ejere) med det samme og fik styr på tingene. Eneste minus var manglende varmt vand i køkkenet og opvaskemaskine, som ikke virkede optimalt. Men alt ialt et dejligt ophold.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this modern house. We didn't miss anything. I would like to point out that this house was by far the cleanest , absolutely spotless. The landlord was very friendly, invited us to eat from his garden. We plan to visit this location again.

Family Holiday

We were 9 .adult family members on holiday, the villa was perfect for us as it is over 3 levels and each level has it's own facilities. The garden and pool are kept immaculate and whatever fruit and veg that is growing is free to use. Mate the villa contact was very helpful and arranged taxi transfer for some of our party as we were coming on 3 different flights.We rented a 9 seat mini van from Fleet Hire , but i would reccomend 2 cars instead as parking in split and trogir can be a problem plus the roads leading to the villa are single track and quite narrow. Would recommend a trip to the national park go past the first paid car park and there is free parking for the park further on.

Perfect stay in great villa

We stayed a week in this great villa with 5 friends. And enjoyed it very, very much. The villa is clean, very spacious and everything is available. There are three floors with each one or two bedrooms, a kitchen (complete with dishwasher), a living room an terrace. And from each floor you can see the sea. The garden is a great plus. There are two cherry trees with abundant cherries. And a kitchen garden with onions, strawberries, tomatoes, zucchinis, etc that we could use for our meals. Every evening we ate at the terrace with home grown vegetables and a bbq. GREAT! The location is good: right in between Split and Trogir. Sibinic and Krka National Park are an hour drive away. Pay attention to the fact that there is a new car-road which is not on all maps or navigations. The owner is a great host and received us with drinks and local food. That was a real treat. He was easy to reach and had a lot of information about the surroundings. We definitely recommend this villa.

Lovely villa, great location, fantastic host

From start to finish Mate had been the perfect host in this luxury villa. He met us at the airport, helped sort out the car hire and we followed him to the villa to be met by a feast of Croatian cheese, meats, fruit and wines. It was the perfect start to our holiday. The villa is perfect for two families as there are two large self contained apartments with separate functioning kitchens and bathrooms. The downstairs communal kitchens and lovely outdoor space means you can also spend time together. The pool is great, deep enough to dive into ( no shallow end for children who can't swim tho) and Mate cleaned it every day. The garden is lovely with Large BBQ and we were invited to pick the tomatoes, peppers, aubergines, herbs and peaches. The villa is about 20 minutes drive from Split which has incredible restaurants ( trust Trip Advisor) and the amazing Dioclitian Palace, and 15 minutes from Trogir which is very beautiful and has great shops. Krka national park is definitely worth a visit. The Croatian people were without exception friendly and welcoming whenever we went. A beautiful country, beautiful people and a beautiful villa. Thank you Mate!!
