Best way to say this review for VrboWe had such a lovely stay at Kayla’s home. Everything about it was beautiful from the well-kept lawn and flowers to the peaceful farm setting. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch, watching the ducks, geese, and cows—it was so relaxing. The bathroom and shower were exceptional. Thank you again for an enjoyable stay. Rick and Karen
This is our 3rd year staying in this home. The lay out of the house is perfect for our church group. It is clean, check in is easy, large kitchen, 2 living rooms. The owners are friendly and helpful. It is the best!
This house was great for our group of 9. Came to see Noah production at Sights and Sound theater. Travelled to Gettysburg to see the battlefields, and spent a day driving thru Amish areas. A nice clean home to come back to every night with everything we needed. Our group loved it.
The house could use a little updating in areas, but overall the place worked out perfectly for our visit. The location is less than a block from one of the popular bakeries and close driving distance to other popular areas.
Our stay was great! The home and location were perfect. Extremely clean and plenty of space for 5 adults and one child. Could have easily had 2 more people. Marlin was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would highly recommend staying at this home!
The Evergreen home is always so welcoming! We love the location. It’s quiet and serene. The house has enough space for a the whole family to enjoy and the property has a beautiful view of the sunset and local cow farm. It is the perfect, peaceful getaway.
Incredible location, tucked in among very welcoming Amish neighbors…and don’t miss the bakery, the soft pretzels, and feeding the goats! Delightful! The house was immaculate, well appointed, and the host, who lives next door, was very accommodating!
Everything about our stay was perfect. From booking our stay until we left was so easy. The welcoming treats were so much enjoyed and appreciated. The house is simply gorgeous, spotless, and spacious. Thanks for allowing us to have vacation that we will always remember. Thanks again.
Home was beautiful and spotless. (HOW do they keep those carpets so clean?!) with little kids, we needed some entertainment. the petting zoo by the bird in hand bakeshop was the perfect thing for my kids and feeding the goats kept them entertained every day during our three day stay!
The property is beautiful and so peaceful. It was a treat to watch the momma cows and their babies "mooving" on the other side of the creek behind the property. The home was equipped far beyond our expectations. In addition to items provided, were condiments, spices, laundry supplies, paper products, and wood for the fire pit. Our host was extremely accommodating to 7 old(er) women and quick to repair a door issue. We're definitely coming back in 2026.
The property was spacious, well maintained, and met all of our needs. The beautiful and tranquil location was conveniently located near places we needed to access. The host left bread and cookies from the local bakery. The host was kind enough to mail an item that we left behind. Very responsive.

Well appointed. Clean. Welcome gifts of bread, pastries and cookies was unexpected and wonderful surprise. throw blankets on every couch, household supplies, etc...we needed nothing. Wonderful stay and will do again.
This lovely home is on a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by Amish farms. The setting is peaceful and relaxing with beautiful sunsets and cows as your neighbors, but the location is also close to shopping and main transportation routes. The hosts have provided many thoughtful touches in furnishing the home with items like throw blankets, magnifying mirrors in each bathroom and quality cookware. Marlin was very accommodating and responsive when we had questions. We wouldn't hesitate to book The Evergreen Home again if our travels bring us back to the Lancaster area.
The house was exactly what it said it was and more! The pictures didn’t do it justice. We had a little issue with how to turn on the dining room lights and I emailed the owners and within 10 minutes they were knocking on the door to help us. So very pleasant and polite. We will be staying there again.
Everything was provided.
The thoughtfulness of that was over and above.
Everything was really clean.
The bakery, play yard and pretzels shop was an easy walk.
The stream in the back along with cows, pigs and a horse entertained the kids.
Geart fire pit, but weather did not cooperate.
Great stay, great memories made.
The Manager was super nice and easy to get in touch with. The house was big and roomy. We had issues with ants and very large centipedes. Paint on ceiling is peeling in bathrooms. A little expensive for condition of the property. Great location.

Thank you for your review Cathy.
The ants and centipedes is something we are working on with an exterminator.
The paint on the bathroom Is an issue we just became aware of and we definitely will be repairing in the near future.
