About this property

White Horse Guest Home w/Pool / hot tub

We are within 10 minutes of the village of Intercourse, about 15 minutes from Shady Maple Smorgasbord and 60 Min away from Hershey and Philadelphia. We have a beautiful 15x26 above ground pool which is open from (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.) The 7 person hot tub was purchased in June of 2017. There is a beautiful fenced in backyard which borders Amish farmland in the rear of the property. The house sits on a main route with many buggies traveling by daily. Complimentary laundry room with detergent is provided on the first floor. At least one or more guests must be 21 years of age to rent this home. The property layout is great for family gatherings and smaller reunions.
The kitchen has an island, kitchen table.Leading off from the kitchen is a full bathroom and a bedroom with a king bed. On the same side of the house is the sunroom (w sleeper sofa) that leads to the hot tub from one door and the pool through another. From the other side of the kitchen is the foyer, laundry room, BR, sitting area, 1st floor bedroom with a queen bed. A large living area is at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the other 2 bedrooms (1 Q bed & 2 DB beds) & bathroom. 1st floor full bath just remodeled Feb 2023. Pics not updated of remodeled bath

It was so pleasant and comfy. We loved it. The decor was soft and calming with lots of scripture to remind you how gracious our God is and how blessed we are. It was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook with. It was too cool for the pool but the hot tub was a big hit. The stay here made for a wonderful weekend. Thanks so very much.

Wonderful place to stay

We had a wonderful weekend in Lancaster. This Vrbo was in a great location to Sight and Sound. It was a bit closer to the road than we originally thought but it was beautiful inside. My family enjoyed all the space the house provided as well as the hot tub. We had 11 people in our party from 70 to 5 in ages and all were very comfortable here. It was very clean which I really appreciated. Steve was a great host and I would high recommend this property.

Tough mudder Philly

This property was perfect for a group of athletes doing the tough mudder classic and endurance series. Beds were good, jet tub was useful for sore muscles, the kids enjoyed the pool, plenty of space and privacy. Hosts were super hospitable.

A great place for a family to get together

It was clean, bright, and cheery. We ranged from age 78 to 7 years, and everyone was happy. The pool and hot tub were bonus features that made for a lot of fun. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time!

Great space & beautiful property

I rented this house for my bridal party the weekend of my wedding. We wanted to be closer to the venue and this place was perfect. Very clean, super spacious, it happened to be warm out so the pool was open and ready to go which was a great perk! Overall, happy with the choice and the communication from the owner when I had questions was quick.

Family Reunion - A Great Location

This property is perfect for any large family gathering. Great accommodations, very large guest home with all of the amenities (pool, hot tub, TVs, Wi-fi, large fenced in back yard, propane grill, outdoor/indoor eating areas, fire pit, etc.). Lots of parking is available on site as well. The home is well taken care of and comes with all kitchen items you need to cook meals as well. The property managers are fantastic and live just up on the hill behind the home of anything is needed. I highly recommend this property!

Looking at the outside, we were a bit worried. Once entering, we were relieved and impressed with the overall facilities. Our only concerns were that none of the bathrooms were handicapped accessible and there were low rises between rooms which made for a potential tripping hazard. Other than that, it was great!!! Host and family were very friendly and hospitable.

Rental beyond expectations

We had a family gateway and this rental is absolutely perfect for families with children (all ages). It is offering all you need indoor AND outdoor : it is spacious, there are the swimming pool, jacuzzi, BBQ, table outdoor, lots of linen. It is beautifully decorated and well equipped (laundry, outdoor furnitures...). Some may dislike the traffic since the property is on the road and there was traffic that week-end (Memorial day). Depending on the weather and wind I guess, you may smell the natural air coming from the surrounding farms, which did not bother us at all. We have been glad to meet the owners ,Steve, Ruth and their 7 children. We fully recommend this property.

Excellent week at White Horse vacation rental. Steve Stoltzfus was so kind, warm and friendly. He made us feel home. We were welcomed with a delicious loaf of zucchini bread. His home is spectacular. It is a very large and spacious home with a very unique layout. Everything was so clean. This is very important to my family as my daughter and I have asthma. Everything is decorated beautifully. The pool was so refreshing and my mom's favorite spot to spend the morning drinking coffee before everyone was out of bed. The laundry room was fantastic! There were more than adequate amounts of large thick bath towels and blankets. The a/c made the house so comfortable during our hot August stay. The grill and picnic area made for a great family gathering meal. We loved shopping in the neighboring towns. Our favorite shops were the thrift shop just a few houses up the road and YesterYear Primitives and Antiques. We made a trip to Philly to tour the city and visit Eastern State Penitentiary, Cabella's, and Sight and Sound theater to see Joseph. We took a train ride at Strasburg and a house drawn buggy ride. Miller's Smorgasbord was our favorite restaurant of the week. We also fell in love with the quilts at Miller's and my mom purchased us all heirloom quilts. We had a fantastic week and highly recommend staying here. May God bless this family for their kindness and upstanding business interactions.

Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed the hot tub even though it was in the 50s during the late evening. The jacuzzi tub was great for the kids to enjoy a bath and the walk in shower was great for disabilities. The house had a lot of room and we enjoyed the different spaces. There was plenty of seating, towels, linens and even a high chair and pack and play. The little ones loved walking up to see the animals. We brought our own wood and enjoyed a campfire and s'mores. The place was excellent. The only negative was that the beds were a little hard.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a place to stay with our family that was VERY clean, well equipped, roomy, and better than staying in more expensive hotels without our own kitchen. The owner was attentive,easy to communicate with and accomodating to our grandkids visiting with animals on his farm. We plan to stay here again on our next visit to Sight & Sound. Highly recommended!
