Let your adventure begin!
This five bedroom, 2 bath, spacious split-level house offers private lakeshore and multiple outdoor patio spaces to gather. There is so much to do! The dock is surrounded by a sandy bottom swim area. We provide kayaks and a lily pad at no extra charge. You can tie your boat or pontoon to the dock or rent our pontoon. We have a fish cleaning table to clean your catch of the day. The bonfire pit is on the shore near the water and we provide the firewood.

This comfortable home has 6 queen beds, twin bunk beds and two large bathrooms. Enjoy the beautiful lake views or relax in one of the two living rooms. Have some fun playing air hockey or foosball in the game area. There's plenty of space for your whole group to spread out and have fun.

Enjoy outdoor cooking, a full kitchen, and indoor or outdoor dining. You'll love cooking in our spacious kitchen where you'll have everything you need: newer full-size appliances (fridge with ice maker, convection oven, dishwasher), cooking essentials (pots, pans, cutting boards, knives, crockpots), coffee maker (both regular and Keurig), toaster, blender, dining ware (dishes, glassware, containers, bowls, mugs, silverware), and pantry basics (salt, pepper, oil, paper towels, starter spices, dish soap).

There is a second fridge/freezer downstairs. The washer and dryer in the laundry room are free to use. Laundry baskets and a starter pack of laundry detergent and stain remover is provided. Perfect for longer stays, families, or anyone who wants to pack light.

Everything is here to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

Lake Brophy is a quiet, 289 acre lake perfect for fishing, skiing, tubing, and swimming. Take a boat ride around the island or head to the nearby Brophy Park. The park has direct access to the Central Lakes Trail as well as a sandy beach and space to play. The cabin is located just over 2 miles from Alexandria where you will find shopping, restaurants, theaters, and many fun daytime activities.

Staying during the winter? Lake Brophy is great for ice fishing, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing. The property is only 15 miles from Andes Tower Hills skiing and tubing area.

Lots to do outside and if it rains inside- lots of games and man cave with foosball and air hockey tables!Lots of steps to dock and no bars in bathtub/showers so not as accommodating if you have mobility issues. But overall huge place that can accommodate lots of people!

Brophy Shores

House had more than enough room for our family vacation. The kids enjoyed the game tables in the garage as well as the kayaks and jumping off the dock. We saw lots of wildlife sitting down by the lake. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need and there were more than enough bath and beach towels for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay!

House was spacious, clean and well supplied with every thing you could ask for. we had a great time. My son and his 7 year old daughter caught some nice size bass and a catfish off the dock, as well as lots of panfish. Only drawback was the weedy shoreline and and long staircase down to the dock. It was well worth the price and our best lake rental to date.

We both grew up in the Alexandria area and could not think of a better place to raise our 2 kids. There is something magical about the lakes area. We love the memories we made as kids at the lake and want to share that opportunity with others. We are a teacher and a business owner in Alexandria.

Why they chose this property

For years, we looked for the perfect lake place to enjoy with our family and friends. We wanted this property because of the private shoreline and back yard. We love the amount of outdoor and indoor space. We can have many guests without feeling crowded. We both fished on Lake Brophy our whole life and currently live a half mile from the property because we love this area. We wanted a cabin to create some great family memories. We want to give that same opportunity to others.
