Great location, Great place to stay

The unit was walking distance from stores and activities, and had easy access to parking and the highway when we needed to drive somewhere. The beach was easily accessed and the shops on the main level had much of what we needed while we were there. A comfortable and convenient place to stay.

Thank you for a great time

I was so impressed with everything about Kaanipali Shores. Most importantly, the people there were great and very helpful. Location was great, my daughter and her friend enjoyed the pool and drinks. The concierge helped my with a trip. Also, the price was better than placed such as Westin. Thank you so much as I can't think of a better "bang for the buck" I would definitely do it again. Don Roe

SMALL PROBLEMS: Parking, traffic, Unit needs a little tune up, MBA door etc. NO PROBLEMS: EXCELLENT FRIENDLY STAFF, Food, service, location, amenities, noise. We had a great time. Even the birds on the patio were friendly. Hope to return some day.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Aston Kaanapali Shores is very well placed in the Kaanapali area. The food trucks are very close, as well as some outside dining establishments. I know they plan to work on the beaches, but it is right on the water and the kids were able to boogie board right out front of the condo area. For the money, it was a great option.

Overall pleasant stay

The condo was clean and location was great. The beach and pools were fantastic. The staff at the resort was great to work with. I wish that the condo would have been better stocked. There were no spices, condiments, etc. only dishes, silverware and basic appliances. It would be nice to have some of those extras like salt, pepper, sugar so wd wouldn’t have to buy them at the store and leave them behind. The condo could also use a little updating. The beds were terribly uncomfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but would have appreciated some of the little extras for the amount that the unit cost.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: To sum it up in one word - Amazing! From the room to the property it was an amazing experience and vacation. The Aston Kaanapali Shores is in a great location. We love the property because it’s a perfect size (2 pools) but not to big and spread out. The room we had was great for our 4 person family (Husband and wife w/ 2 teenage boys). It’s a very spacious room w/ good size rooms, huge living space and kitchen. The only bummers were having to pay for the week for the workout area and one of the pools the jacuzzi was kind of small and packed at night. Other than that it was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend it for families.

great property but don’t book this way

I would recommend staying at Aston Kaanapali Shores, but will def not book this way in the future. The condo we were assigned at check in did not match the description in this listing. Most importantly it had one less bed than listed. I had to escalate with the on-site property management to get moved to a room with beds that matched our description, which luckily they were able to do. There was also a HUGE difference in the quality of appliances and furnishings between the condos. Much more than you’d expect based on the description. If you can book a specific unit, this place is great. Staff is great. Location is great, Poolside drinks and snacks service. But I’d recommend finding another way to book.

Lovely accomodations and great location!

We enjoyed our stay at Kaanapali Shores. The condo was perfect for our family of 5. We appreciated the clothes washer and dryer so we didn't have to go out to do laundry. We enjoyed the beauty of the property, swam in the pools and sat in the hot tubs. The restaurant is very good. It was still whale season and we saw lots of whales every day. We were glad to be right on the ocean, but there isn't much of a beach. You will have to walk a bit or take a short drive to get to a better beach and swimming in the ocean. It was nice to be close to Lahaina and good snorkeling at Honolua Bay.
