The Glamp-Direct on Lake with own Beach and own Outhouse

Pets always stay free. A place for eating out or using the Gas BBQ grill with use of your own paper plates and such.
16'x20'-Open living. with a queen bed: Your own dedicated OUTHOUSE; Your own dedicated 150+ foot driveway+ own dedicated outside hot shower for lavatory needs. Dry sink present in cabin-NO RUNNING H2O. BRING YOUR OWN BOATS. Roku TV ( in guest mode) w/ some live channels. Wifi. Heat+AC. Gas BBQ. Own 50 feet of lake front + own driveway- you could back-in an ATV trailer. Lots of bird species+critters. ATV trail access. Hunt/Fish/Hike/Bike. A laundry building is available for use . This building separates cabin from the main cabin next door.

Trash and recyclable bins on site.

A tired foosball table present and doubles for gear storage on its top/below.

Some linens, blankets and towels are included for use.

A microwave and coffee maker available for use.

A basketball hoop ( nine feet high with grass court) in rear yard.

A Queen- size bed and a foldable twin in the cabin. The foldable twin also turns into a couch.

A dry sink present the cabin for bottled water drainage-- no running water in the cabin.

Please note: The patio door locks with a block of wood from the interior.

Please note: This is a primitive cabin as well as the laundry building that has nails sticking out in various places. Also you need to take heed of the entrances of stairs, railings, etc. All areas, inside and out, of the cabin and laundry building are not square or plumb.
The cabin sits on West shore of Portage Lake. There are neighbors close by on both sides but visibility is restricted by vegetation and laundry building. Your booking is for the use of the cabin it's 50 feet of waterfront, outhouse, private drive and laundry building.

Please note: A small storage loft is in cabin. This loft is for light item storage only, not for walking or laying/sleeping on- Loft is Unhabitable.

Please note: The wood pellet stove located in cabin is not in service. Heat and AC from the mini-split heat pump.

Public spring water is down the road which runs continuously located in the green shack in front of the town building that has "Portage" spelled on its roof at the beginning of the W. Rd.

You can swim in front of the cottage however, a public beach is down the road which has deeper water.

There are no fees to take the public spring water or to use the public swim area.

A public landing that has a dock as well as nightly RV rental spots are within less than a five minute walk from cabin.

Bring all the boats you want! The cottage has a small landing for small boats to carry to the water. If you have a big one with a trailer, the public landing with a dock is less than a five minute walk from your cabin.

Nearby attractions: -Public Golf Course- Restaurant- -General store- Town recreation area w/ tennis courts/ BB Court/playground- Scheduled events throughout the year of various interests.

Why they chose this property

The sun sets not far away from the nearby water meadows. This area is my personal favorite place to kayak. If you go out to the water meadows, the chance to observe many bird species, including loons, is great. Muskrats are also plentiful. ( Not next to the cabin though :)
