Annick is a great host. She recommended restaurants forma special occasion and helped with booking a car from the airport. The apartment was spacious and light even on a rainy day. We booked this without much knowledge of Paris and we were surprised how close everything was. The Seine, Notre Dame, the Louvre, Shakespeare and company books store, were all with in a few minutes walk. The Metro, bakeries, restaurants, and shops literally at your doorstep. We could not have asked for more. A great place o stay.

Amazing stay in central Paris.

This is truly an amazing rental in the center of Paris. You are literally steps away from the subway so it is easy to get everywhere. Lots of cafes and other stores within a block. Apartment is very well equipped and the communication with the property manager was excellent. Would definitely stay again!

Great location and plenty of space for family of 5

My husband, 2 teen children, father enjoyed our time in this house in an active and vibrant neighborhood. The nightlife is busy under the flat, but we were not bothered by the street noise as the house was spacious and cozy. The house is on the 2nd and 3rd floor, but has a small elevator my 81 year old dad could use. It’s right by the metro and close to the Seine River, Notre Dame and Louvre - all walkable from the flat. Endless food options are right outside the flat as well as a grocery. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location and host

We absolutely loved this property. In the thick of all the excitement and so close to the metro. Easily accommodated a last-minute guest to make it five of us. Annick was wonderful. Met us at check-in, thank gosh, as we would’ve had trouble finding the place, and helped us arrange transportation to the airport at the end of our day.

Three nights in Paris

The apartment is really nice. Fantastic location. Host is great. There is an elevator. Bedrooms are comfortable. Very close to restaurants and coffee \ pastries in the morning. The Metro is right there too. Nice place.

Amazing location

Easy access to the metro in a great location that is a close walk to the Notre Dame. Only downside was that because this is a prime location, the night party scene will be heard all throughout the night. But definitely an even trade of all things considered, especially if you plan to be out late. It is worth noting that the rooms were well clean but there was a musty smell that lingered at times. Overall for the price you can’t beat the location. Our family of 6 had a great time!

Paris Stay

So close to the fun and vibrant 2nd arr neighbourhood, with a multitude of services and food options right outside your door. The apartment was spacious and bright and the bedrooms were quiet even though you are directly above restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond. Would stay here again.

Great location. fun area. noisy

We knew going into this rental that noise was going to be present, so we brought ear plugs and it was totally fine. Our biggest issue was getting help when there was an issue with the lock, Annick was able to get there to help as soon as she could, but it resulted in a few hours of wandering. The location is perfect, especially for younger people. The space is roomy and the beds comfortable. overall I do recommend staying here.

Girls Trip

My five friend and I stayed here on the first leg of our girls trip. The check-in process was easy as I was met by the host’s friend upon arrival to let us in and show us around. There were 3 beds total, accommodating all of us. The rental was very clean. Only thing, as we already knew, was that the apartment was above a restaurant/bar. It doesn’t close until 5am in the morning so be aware it will be loud most of the night. However, the location was ideal being in the middle of a lively area. Everything was walking distance. I mean also, it’s Europe! So you make the most of it!

Although the flat was in a good location,but , you could not sleep . The noise below with bars and clubs was crazy. Would of liked to keep the windows opened , but the noise was so loud you could not sleep. this went on until 5:30 in the morning. The flat was not clean,dirty clothes stuffed under beds , went to make eggs, the pan was never cleaned. Not a good experience !

The Perfect Parisian Getaway!

My family of 4 loved our stay at the property. The flat was perfectly located in the city. Plus, we were steps away from jumping onto the metro/subway which we used daily to get around to the different tourist attractions (i.e. Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Catacombs, Eurostar for a trip into London, not to mention the local grocery stores- the Monoprix). We loved the main living room / kitchen area on the 3rd floor which gave us a great opportunity to all hang out as a group, and at night were able to retire to our separate quarters on the 2nd floor. There were tons of cafes in the neighborhood to hang out in, and popular stores to visit if you want to shop. We liked opening up all the big windows at the end of the day to relax and hear the noise from the locals at the cafes down below. When we were ready for bed you simply had to close the windows which eliminated almost all the noise entirely. The building elevator was also very helpful for transporting luggage and tired people. We never turned on the TV's in the apartment, but easily connected to the WIFI, and liked the convenience of doing laundry in the middle of our 10-day trip. We would highly recommend the flat, and would seriously consider renting it again should we vacation in Paris in the future.

Our Paris experience

I recently stayed in this property with my husband, sister and BIL for 5 nights. I wanted to think about our stay before writing this review. There are many good things about this property. First is the ease of communication with Annick. She was patient with my many questions and answered them promptly. The apartment is as shown. There are actually 2 entrances to the apartment via stairs or an elevator. The second floor entrance opens directly into one of the bedrooms, which really was not an issue. That floor has 2 bedrooms, each with private shower and bathroom stall in hallway between. There is also a washer/dryer combo on the floor. A spiral staircase takes you to the upper floor which is a spacious dining room/living room and equipped kitchen with another bathroom stall near the other entrance to the apartment. It is a very comfortable property. This apartment has a great location. Walking distance to Notre Dame, Louvre, et al, and steps from the metro. Many restaurants and boulangeries close by, but better restaurants can be found off the main streets. Wifi is available, TV with many stations (we never used it though), hairdryer in unit. Everything you could need, but there is a catch. The noise is a huge factor. We were there over the weekend and it was very loud all night. Some have said closing the windows eliminated the noise, but it was not the case with us. I would highly recommend earplugs if staying. I also wondered about a couple of things, and am I being too petty, perhaps, but I have not seen them addressed in previous reviews. We were asked to bring cash to pay the cleaning staff. In all of my VRBO and other rental stays I have never been asked to do that. All fees have been included in payment, and thought it was odd to do this. The other point was after paying the cleaning fee, at check out, I received a message that we were to take out the garbage. Again never have been asked. We were willing to do it. There are so many positive points about this apartment that I had to bring up my concerns, but felt they were valid

Upstairs was very nice. bedrooms were pretty cramped and bathrooms not great. Location was excellent and despite live music outside windows, double seal kept it reasonable/ Host was very helpful

Week in Paris

The apartment was perfect for us. My favorite neighborhood. Close to the metro and many good restaurants and shopping. The downstairs bedrooms each had their own shower room. So we had some private space. The kitchen was well equipped and the salon was a great place to relax together.

Spacious and Great Location

Positives - apartment is very spacious and in a wonderful location for easy access to Metro lines and RER line as well as a grocery store and several affordable restaurants with take out. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you’ll need to cook for yourself and eat in. Annick was very accessible and made both check in and check out very easy.Negatives - there are cafes right outside the apartment which are rather loud though we all slept fine anyway; there is no air conditioning which could be tough in hotter weather; the building elevator is unreliable as we found out when one of our party got stuck in it between floors for over an hour.

Great stay in a unique flat in a wonderful location near landmarks and the Metro. Vibrant and feels very local. Communication and check in process with host was fantastic. Very clean with everything you need for a great visit to Paris.

The location attracted us, but it also attracted a LOT of locals the bars and restaurants surrounding the apartment. It was very loud until 1-2 in the morning. The bedding was not ideal. Beds a little hard and. Sheets and pillows were very low quality. The toilet rooms were very odd.

Unbeatable location with ample living space

Lovely stay at the end of March 2025!-Annick is a charming and helpful host that will help you both with the unit and any local recommendations -There are buttons on the wall of the building on each floor to turn on the energy-efficient lights when they turn off (gets dark fast)-Suggest getting WhatsApp to communicate with Annick prior to check in as the WiFi in the building is poor and our VRBO text messages weren’t going through and it felt slightly unnerving getting in touch-The apartment is pretty clean-The location is amazing and cannot be beat-The sound at night can be loud until late (5am) but with windows closed it’s manageable (every review says this - you clearly are aware when you book this unit you are staying above lively jazz clubs in a popular nighttime area, so no complaints)-There is a grocery store across the way that is very helpful for coffee pods (not provided) and bottled water, Orangina, etc -The washer & dryer unit (one machine) worked very well and make sure to have Annick explain at check-in and show you how to use it if needed because it was a little tricky for us to figure out -Upstairs living, dining and kitchen space is roomy and airy and a delight, with exposed wooden beams and stone walls that make this apartment the coolest we have ever stayed in architecturally -Stocked very well with clean towels and toilet paper and paper towels- all glassware and utensils very clean in kitchen Would recommend and thank you, Annick!
