Caroline’s lovely apartment is centrally located in the warm, vibrant and historic Marais district, about a 10 minute walk to the Hotel de Ville and Notre Dame. There are lots of interesting shops and cafes nearby, but the apartment was always quiet enough for sleeping comfortably. Check in was easy, and Caroline was a friendly and responsive host. Would highly recommend for small families or groups of friends looking for the perfect location from which to explore Paris on foot. We will definitely plan to book again for our next trip to Paris!

The apartment was in a perfect location; short walks from Notre Dame and the Louvre. Close to the metro in a vibrant neighborhood with many shops/restaurants/bakeries/cafes.The apartment is big enough for 4 people and was well equipped. The only downside to the apartment (as it’s on the ground floor), it could get noisy if it gets real hot as there is no a/c.Caroline was a wonderful host and got us out of a jam when we left both keys in the apartment!

Ideal, quiet location

Located conveniently in a happening neighborhood full of delightful places to eat, drink, shop. Very quiet at night though. Faintly heard a siren one night (of nine nights).My cousin and I are both 72, and we could walk to Ile de l a Cite in less than 10 minutes. Since Chatelet and Les Halles Metro stations are that close, you can get anywhere easily.

My sister and I stayed here for a wonderful 8 night art focused vacation. We loved this apartment. The weather was beautiful so we could open the large living room windows and listen to the hustle and bustle on the sidewalks below. It was cosy and comfortable. The kitchen met our needs. The location could not have been better.

In an old French building with atmosphere. Loved the creamy floors! Apt. Had everything we needed, beds comfortable, toilet separate from shower and sink area. Very quiet, no street noise. Hostess, Caroline, is so gracious and responsive. Easy and interesting walk to Metro station Hotel de Ville near Notre Dame. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Apt. Was perfect for my daughter-in-law and me. One queen size bed. One double. Highly recommend!

Wonderful neighborhood in Le Marais!

We had a beautiful trip to Paris. So nice coming home to an apartment instead of a hotel. Nice size rooms, large windows, clean and convenient to metro, food establishments and stores. Location was the best! Even though there were eateries below our apartment it was not noisy.

Convenient to everything in the Marais

The common stairwell has seen better days , but first impressions aside, this apartment has charms that grow on you. Clean quarters, quiet safe surroundings, comfortable beds. The living room has a good view upon the café diners, strollers and shoppers of Rue Rambuteau yet is quiet at night. We could have used the kitchen to prepare some meals but dining opportunities were so convenient and reasonable we ate out at every meal. Great place to feel like a local resident for a brief spell.

We had an amazing 9 days at Caroline's apartment. The location is perfect. There are so many restaurants, shops and things to do within a 2 block radius. We were never bored. The apartment was well stocked and the beds were super comfortable. Caroline answered our questions quickly and was a great host. We will stay at her place again when we return to Paris!

Our stay in this lovely, spacious apartment located above an interesting cafe and a parade of people felt like having Paris in our living room. And, when we closed the windows, no sounds could be heard. It was a wonderful stay in the perfect place, walkable to everywhere in Paris.

Just fabulous

We stayed for a full week in the summer, the apartment was just the right size for a family of four with all the facilities you could need both inside the apartment and in the neighbourhood. Caroline was helpful and timely in her messages, making access to the property contact free and easy. She was kind wnough to communicate with us in English which was really helpful! Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious with lots of storage. The lounge/diner is not walk through and was a perfect place to rest on the comfy sofas after a long day exploring, opening the big beautiful windows to get a breeze and to watch, listen and soak up life on Rue Rambuteau was just wonderful. The doors and windows locked securely making us feel safe, with the front door opening onto a hallway which the bedrooms and lounge come off which was a real unexpected luxury. There are so so many amazing take out food options on Rue Rambuteau, was lovely to go as a family selecting bits from each place and share them all.on the huge dining table. Two favourite places are the boulangerie 'Chez Meunier' a 2 min walk for pastries, breads and patisseries and the French/Moroccan restaurant 'Chez Loulou' where you can listen to gentle live cello/piano while eating. Rambuteau station is a 2 min walk and is so easy to access all the main sights. I highly reccomend both Caroline as a host and this beautiful Parisian home to anyone wanting to explore the city but also e perience local life.

Our stay in Paris was amazing. The apartment is located in the heart of Le Marais and walking distance to restaurants, museums, shops, bakeries and transportation. Caroline our host was very helpful especially when we were waiting for our lost luggage to arrive. The apartment has a nice ambiance with lots of charm. We loved hanging out in the lounge room looking through the window as people walked passed. It is a busy street but we didn’t mind. Overall our stay was great. Thanks
