2/2 home in 55+ community in Punta Gorda Fl close to Ft Myers, Sarasota, Tampa and 2-3 hours from Disney. Our county is now open with very little restrictions to beach goers, parks, restaurants etc. Everything has been cleaned and sanitized for your safety. There is plenty of sanitizer, paper towels and toilet paper so you don’t have to buy ANYTHING of those items. New well appointed kitchen and master ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. Wifi and Dish included.This property is backed up to the reseverve so no one is behind you. Close to great restaurants and downtown shopping in quaint and 3rd safest FLORIDA town. Heated pool and community clubhouse just one minute walk with shuffleboard, horseshoes etc. Everything is here for you. Well stocked kitchen to make meals, 2 kinds of coffee pots, crockpots, microwave etc.

Clean but cluttered

Basically the home owner lives on property and leaves when it is rented, food in refrigerator, all of her personal belongings are everywhere, dirty clothes in the hamper, I will say that the property was very clean, but it was like staying at a family members house instead of a vacation rental.

Punta Gorda - Buttonwood +55 Community

This manufactured home had some nice upgrades. Owner is nice, meets you at the door to show you around and give you the keys. Be aware that you will be sharing her home not staying in a rental exclusive for vacation purposes. You will be sharing closets, dressers, space in the kitchen cupboards, and space in the fridge/freezer. This place is smaller than we thought it would be and probably most comfortable for one couple. Main living space, kitchen, and bathrooms were clean. The master bedroom was clean, had new linens, had a very comfortable bed, and a newly remodeled master bath. The spare bedroom was in need of attention. Washer and dryer work, but are very old and don’t function properly. Patio space was very crowded with little room to move around or get to the shed to do the laundry. WiFi and dish were convenient. Neighborhood was safe, but there are a lot of homes in this community with the homes very close together. The location was great and close to most stores. Overall, we give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Life is Good in Punta Gorda

We had an excellent trip to Punta Gorda. Travel to and from the airport, places of interest and restaurants was easy and without the traffic issues that are evident in other places we've visited in Florida. Linda, the property owner, was kind and generous and determined to make our stay the success that it turned out to be. We were grateful for her sharing her lovely place in the sun with us.
