The cabin has 3 bedrooms and a futon with 2 full bathrooms. Open kitchen and dining Room with all new stainless appliances, will give you the comfort of home. Do not let pictures of house confuse you.This ranch house is 80ft long,,,and hard to take a good picture. We have very spacious bedrooms,, huge eat in kitchen.This property is extremely private,CLOSE TO SHAWNEE SKI AND TUBING AREA,,AND CAMEL BACK,, , but close enough to other activities and shopping. The Bushkill stream is a stocked trout stream which is great fishing from April till July. You can also enjoy tubing down the stream with our tubes.You have your own fire-pit area right at the stream,by the most beautiful spot on The Big Bushkill Stream. We provide your firewood, propane, WI-Fi, bed linens. and PAPER PRODUCTS..When you are ready to CHILL,and unwind,this is definitely the PLACE!!! 10 reasons to book HERE:1. Stream lake cabin was surreal.

I needed a quick get away from the city, and this retreat satisfied all the much needed relaxation. I was able to chill out with my one year old puppy and my hubbie had the pleasure of catching many trout in the stream a few feet away. All kitchen appliances were handy, it was great. Many friendly people around including our hosts.

Quick getaway

Very nice property. Ideal for a group of fishermen, or a family getaway. Everything worked as described. Cool area out of the sun. Clean spaces and all supplies as described. Good communication throughout stay.

Excellent fishing weekend

Everything that was needed for cabin life was there. Being right on a trout stream was fantastic. We caught 24 trout over three days at three different rivers close by. Quiet and secluded yet close to everything if we needed anything. Great getaway for one and all. Hope to go back again.

If you're looking to get away to unwind and recharge in the mountains, this is your place! I'd be remiss had I not mentioned that steps away is a river to go fishing, swimming, tubing, or to just enjoy a great fire with friends and family. The house is more than spatious, which includes an enclosed screen porch, allowing you to enjoy nature's music. The cabin is just perfect

We rented the house for Labor Day weekend and We had a really good time , the owner Harris is a nice guy so communication was a breeze . The creek by the house is perfect not to mention the fire pit . The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because ,The bathtub in the master bedroom clogs Before you can finish your shower ..

Peaceful and relaxing!

The location - beautiful private woodlands - couldn’t have been more perfect for our family. We enjoyed sitting by the beautiful stream having dinner at the picnic table as well as around the fire pit (stack of wood at the ready). The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and the cabin was totally cozy and roomy. Very convenient to hiking and biking as well as grocery store. We will definitely return.

Could not love this place more!

We fell in love with this place. Spent one full day sitting in the river and swimming. The views of the river in the pictures that look like they came from a brochure? Nope, they are actual views of what you see in the river and even they don’t do it justice. We spent a rainy evening on the screened porch just enjoying the sounds. Host is super nice and anticipated things we needed like the floats and setting up fire pit. We cannot wait to go back!

Perfect Getaway Weekend

Our group had a wonderful weekend at this house and property. The house was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with many extras that made packing a lot easier. On the front of the house, there is both an open and screened in porch to relax and the stream can be seen and heard from there. We spent a lot of time in the firepit and waterfront area, as well as the water itself. The stream is a great depth for floating and even swimming. We saw all sorts of wildlife, and enjoyed the quiet and scenery. We can't wait to stay here again!

Winter Wonderland!

It was a great stay at the cabin! The house is super warm, even hot at times.. the kitchen is fully equipped, except there's no kettle, if you're a tea lover like me, then you'll need to bring it with you. Beds are comfy, tv's and internet works fine, water pressure is good, water heats up quickly. The whole point of this cabin is it's property, private road, access to the creek, backyard. Safe for kids, and pets. We loved our winter getaway, Thank you!!

Perfect place for time away with friends

The cabin was great clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The location was ideal, not to far to drive but far enough to get out of the city and into the wilderness. We spent most of our time out at the fire pit right along the beautiful bushkill creek and a awesome mountain on the other side. During the day a pair of bald eagles flew over head on their way to the lake. We saw another immature bald eagle over head as well. The owner was awesome very responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back and recommend you give this place a try.

Great size cabin, clean and accommodating. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the fall foliage exploring nearby mountain sites. A couple nights relaxing at the stream was just divine with warmth from the fire pit on a cool fall evening.

We stayed 4 nights. It was quiet and peaceful. The house was very nice and quite large. The stream and fire pit was just steps away. We spent a lot of time just relaxing there. Our dog loved going in the water. Harris took very good care of us!! I would definitely stay there again!

Harris was friendly and helpful, and came over to greet us when we arrived. Everything was as stated, weather was perfect and we all had an awesome stay. We appreciate a dog friendly rental - our dog had a blast splashing in the water and sniffing around the woods. We saw deer, a weasel, and an eagle that flew over us each evening as we sat at the campfire and listened to the sound of the water. Thank you, Harris!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay! The streamside is just a few short steps away. My family and dogs loved sitting by the stream. We enjoyed the firepit at night, making smores and playing boardgames. Our host, Harrison, was very attentive. It was a perfect, peaceful getway.

Lovely spot in the Poconos.

Wonderful stay. The river/creek proximity to the firepit area is hard to beat and our family enjoyed the peacefulness of the cabin and surrounding community. Harris was excellent with plenty of suggestions on getting the most from our time there!

Peaceful quiet relaxation. The stream in front of the property was great. We spent a lot of time decompressing from everyday life. House is as described and is much bigger than the pictures. Added touches of the extras was very nice (coffee, tubes, rods, paper items etc). We enjoyed our time at the cabin.

Great location!

This house was a perfect fit our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 kids ages 8-9) - there was plenty of space, and the location was amazing (fire pit right on the creek across the small road from the cabin). The kids had a blast swimming and tubing in the creek and roasting marshmallows by the fire. Harris even gave us suggestions on local places to hike!

Relax and recharge

Great place to escape from the real world, but close enough to attractions and restaurants, if needed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't all that cooperative, and we didn't get as much streamside relaxation that we would have liked. However, the cabin has heat and AC, and we needed both! Or you could sit on the covered/screened-in porch when the rain is falling. We had everything we needed. Please note that there wasn’t a Mr. Coffee as pictured in the listing. There is a Keurig and a percolator (which my husband knew how to use!). We had a visitor for breakfast one morning. He made quite the mess but was exciting to see! We also saw many deer, two other bears along our travels and also a turkey. This was our second trip to the Poconos and if we return to the area, we’ll definitely contact Harris!
