"Jeanne" was once a small groom house, abandoned for many years that we restored in 2017.
You will find this haven of tranquility between sea and countryside on a property dating from the nineteenth century, former Norman farm now a guest house.
"Jeanne" will seduce you with its charm. We imagined it, functional and comfortable, well equipped, and especially tastefully decorated to make it a cocooning, relaxing and soothing holiday home in all seasons.
You will find the charm of the exposed beams of the old buildings.
The view of our Normandy countryside, will invite you to give free rein to your imagination and your dreams.

On the ground floor, the spacious living room is bright thanks to the bay window. The window is equipped with blackout blinds, the bay window with a linen curtain made to measure and an electric shutter.
In the lounge area, the sofa (convertible) will reach you after your long walks and many visits, you can read quietly a good book, watch TV, play a game or drink a small glass of cider.
The fully equipped kitchen will allow you to concoct good dishes with the many regional products that you will find in our markets or at our producers. (oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, pots, dishes, dishes, utensils etc ...). I made sure nothing was missing.
On the first floor is the very bright room with a high ceiling (bed 160x200), with beams over 150 years old. Enjoy under your bare feet, sisal (natural fiber) stretched over a underlay (as in the largest luxury hotels) for maximum comfort.
You will find in the beautiful attic bathroom, an Italian shower, a sink on an oak floor and cement tiles on the floor. Towels and bath mats are provided.
The toilets are separated.
Wifi is free throughout the house.
For parking, no problem. You can park for free in the property's courtyard.
In fine weather, you can enjoy the private wooden terrace, equipped with garden furniture for meals and deckchairs for napping.
For the little ones, a cot, a high chair and a bath are available free of charge on request.
The bed linen is provided. The bed (s) is (are) made upon arrival.
Ideal for your stay in Normandy, La Maison du Palefrenier is close to all the sites to visit: the landing beaches, Bayeux medieval city, its tapestry, its museums and cathedral, Caen, the Omaha Beach golf course ... You can even admire the Mont Saint Michel to spend a day. Not to mention the many walks or bike rides, organized and commented excursions, picnics and all the essential activities for a perfect holiday for young and old.
