About this property
Spacious 2 Bedroom Home within 8 Minute walk to Downtown Augusta
Our home is centrally located to many of the city's attractions and a short drive over the Savannah River into South Carolina. It is next to the beautiful and scenic Riverwalk and minutes from the Augusta Canal a perfect place for walking/biking/kayaking along the trail. It's only minutes' drive from the Augusta National, Home of the Masters and in the path of the Annual Ironman 70.3 Competition.
The historic district (also known as "Olde Town") owes its name either to the corseted ladies' fashions of the 19th-century, or to a hungry period following one of the Savannah River's floods. There are bicycle rentals less than 5 minutes away, kayak rentals and jet ski rentals by the marina only 2 minutes away and other outdoor activities by the Augusta Canal.
The neighborhood architecture survives in one of the best places in the South to see every building style from Federal to Craftsman style homes that survived the great fire of 1916--only an 8 minute walk to downtown where you can enjoy a variety of restaurants and bars such as The Boll Weevil Cafe and Sweetery and many more. Only within 13 minutes (5.9 miles) from the Augusta National Golf Club's (The Masters), and within 28 minutes (15.2 miles) from Fort Eisenhower Army Installation. Plant Vogtle is about 30 minutes away and SRS Savannah River Site is about 20 minutes away. It's also walking distance to the Ironman 70.3 Challenge.
The spacious home has 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has a bedroom that offers a comfortable King sized bed with a shared hallway bath. The second offers a full size bed that shares the hallway bathroom. The shared spaced include the living room area, a fully stocked kitchen with essentials, private fenced in back yard with lots of space. The home has driveway parking space for one vehicle and plenty of free street parking.
PLEASE NOTE: Duplex home with an efficiency in the back of the home and shares walls with front unit.
The living space offers ample space to entertain. The kitchen comes equipped with full size refrigerator and stove, coffee maker, utensils, plates, cups, etc. The backyard offers plenty of privacy and for those that enjoy the outdoors and is shared space with the back unit. Smoking area is also located in the back covered area as we do not allow smoking inside the units.
Our neighborhood is quaint and comfortable and if you are here for business or pleasure, we welcome you as our guest.
