Get-A-Wave is a new construction home that was recently completed in 2013! Here you will enjoy the extensive amount of Outdoor Living Space including the unique Upper-Level Deck and the Private Master Bedroom Balcony! Under the house is all concrete which provides a great area to enjoy the cool Gulf breezes while BBQing with family and friends. Inside you will find an open floor plan, spacious kitchen with granite and the luxury vinyl flooring made to look like and feel like real wood.

Get-A-Wave sits 5th row back from the Pedestrian Beach and is a short 7-minute walk from the deck to the water's edge. You are close enough to smell, hear and see the water yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quietness of being in a small beach community.

Wake in the morning and fall asleep at night to the sound of the waves. Smell the ocean spray, watch the waves roll in and observe nature all around you. Gorgeous sunsets, brown pelicans soaring across the sky and dolphins playing in the waves are just a few sights that will remain with you long after you have arrived home and tug at your heart until you return.

We now offer optional linen service to fit your needs and budget:

• Bring Your Own Linens (sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels) to save on costs. If you would like to bring your own linens ask us to remove the cost which is included in the cleaning fee.

Pet-Friendly Vacation Home - Your Furry Friends Are Welcome! We know that pets are part of the family, and we are happy to welcome them at this home! Guests may bring up to two pets per property with a $100 non-refundable pet fee per pet. If you have more than two pets, please reach out to us - we may be able to make an exception. For small breed pets under 10 pounds, we will do our best to accommodate your request. We ask that all pet owners be mindful of the home and community, clean up after their pets, and follow any local pet guidelines. Short stay, asked to leave due to weather with no refund

We were asked to keace due to high tide & rain with no refund. We were told we would have no way to flush toilets or shower, we had 8 adults and 2 children. We should be refunded for 2 nights, one at minimum. We left at 9:30 pm with a 4 1/2 hour trip home. We were told we could stay but would need to be gone before 6am due to high tide.Again a total of 10 people to be gone by 6am. I should not have to purchase insurance to receive a refund for being told to leave for reasons beyond our control.

Nice place! Overall a great time.

PROs: Entire process was easy. Inside was exactly as described. Information to sent beforehand had us well prepared (what to bring, rules, location, amenities.) Lots of room for adults to play cornhole and kids to ride Scooters at the same time on cement area under the house. CONs: Yard was not mowed (house next door was mowed so can't be blamed on "it's been raining") kids couldn't play in grass. Had to stand in very tall grass/weeds to use grill. Chairs on 3rd level deck are cracked/broken from being brittle due to the sun. Trash bin was full when we arrived, had to haul trash to a dumpster daily.

Fun Time

The house was nice and location was what we were expecting. Only issue we had was it was close to a bar that got a little loud at night. I’m we would definitely stay there again.

The trundle bed was a single but the description said a double. The outdoor table was broken and lopsided. Right outside front of house was a septic manhole that smelled and was wet around it. We enjoyed the beach and the walk to get there was short. We liked the decks.

Overall wonderful

We had a little hiccup with check in but property manager was quick to assist us. The decks are beautiful and where we spent most of our time when we were not at the beach. The kids hated that there was no wifi but us adults didn't mind one bit. They were "forced" to play with their cousins and really ended up making lifelong memories. The water in Surfside is always a little weird so this was expected and not a big issue. Overall, we had a great trip and would definitely book this beach house in the future.

Birthday Weekend Getaway

We booked this weekend two weeks out, and a week out from our stay not 1 but 2 hurricanes form and head our way. They both missed us but did leave our little island a bit disheveled. By time for us to check in , water was gone and cleanup was under way. We enjoyed our stay with our family.

Sorry to report, but I will not ever use this property management group again. Sweet like saccharin. Unscrupulous. Live and learn. There are others in Freeport to choose from.

Great Stay

Good distance to the beach. Not much beach to the south during high tide. Make sure you bring cleaning supplies (soaps, sponge, etc.) and TP. Cooking stuff was a little lacking. Everything else was very accommodating. Also, if your not familiar with Surfside's water, it not the best.

At Beach Resort Services, we are more than just a vacation rental company—we are a small, family-owned and operated business with deep roots in Surfside Beach. Our story began in 1957, when our parents stopped in Surfside to fish after their honeymoon in Galveston. What started as a weekend getaway soon became a lifelong tradition, leading to summers spent here as a family before finally making Surfside our home in 1976.

In 1992, our mother and founder, Catherine, who had been managing properties with Brannan Realty since 1976, took over as property manager for 13 homeowners in need—and that’s how Beach Resort Services was born. What makes this property unique

The most unique feature at Get-A-Wave is the decks. Honestly, gorgeous HUGE decks built so you have both gulf and bay views. The are large enough for entertaining. Room for everyone to spread out and have a good time. This property has an amazing downstairs as well. The house has a wonderful BBQ pit with an oversized picnic table. Both located on the cement, under the house. Get-A-Wave is located on an oversized lot with not a lot of houses close by. This allows your group to spread out and enjoy the inside, outside and the DECKS as well.

You can walk 1 block to the grocery store, convenience store, drive up Ice Machine, Margarita Shack and Souvenir Shops.

Come enjoy Surfside Beach, get a great house at a fair price, close enough to enjoy the beach and far enough away to escape the busy beach goers.
