About this property

5 DBR villa.Dual level with own pool. Walking distance to Calpe's Levante beach

Versatile accommodation comprising of 2 self contained units, I ground, sleeping 4 and 1 first floor, sleeping 6. Both with fitted kitchens, bathrooms, terraces etc. Own well maintained pool with large sun terraces/gardens and barbecue area. A large hedge surrounds the property providing privacy and security. 10 minutes downhill walk to well stocked supermarkets, restaurants and one of the finest Costa Blanca beaches. Calpe is an old fishing port and still retains the port area, with it's fresh fish restaurants under the shadow of the Penon de Ifach. The thriving town retains it's traditional flower decked streets overlooked by the ancient church.

Climbing is to be found in the nearby mountainous areas, such as Liber, Sierra Bernia etc. Wonderful Coastal and hill walking is available nearby, with golf clubs a short drive away. The safe beautiful Levante beach offers white sand and safe bathing for all. the promenade is lined with cafes and restaurants. Calpe offers a lively, but family friendly place to stay. For older children Aqualandia water park and Terra Mitica theme park are only a short drive away.

I am a mother of 3 grown up daughters and live in Bristol area with my partner. We are both near to retirement age and in the next 5 years hope to live at the villa, advertised here. It is 'home from home' to me, as it's been in my family for 30 years or more. We love it there! My lovely parents left it to me and we have carefully updated the house, without altering the layout in any way.

Why they chose this property

Many reasons, but mainly, it has it all. Well thought out accomodation, lovely pool, gardens, all set in a mature area, detached and private. My children all learned to swim here and I consider that the area is safe for families, with no twisty stairways without handrails, the option for ground level stay, if the stairs are difficult, or you are disabled and a homely feel, that has been commented on by many visitors over the years. German built in the late 70's the place has a solid feel to it!

What makes this property unique

Walking distance to all facilities, although a car is nice to have, you can manage without. I have many happy memories of taking my daughters and their friends here with no car, but managing perfectly well, due to the proximity of facilities. In spite of this , at many times of the year, all you can hear are the birds singing. Alternatively, take a ride down the carriageway to diverse and busy Benidorm with it's clubs and pubs, Theme and Aqua parks.
