You really do get the opportunity to stop, breathe and take in the awesome views at Grange a L'Ours. At an altitude of 1290 m the chalet is a good location for guests wanting to ski as it is less than 3km from the pistes at the Col de la Croix Fry.

The chalet has been redecorated by the new owners. The main living floor, is spacious, light and airy and like many of the OVO Network properties based in Manigod, boasts beautiful views of the stunning Aravis valley from the large picture windows. It has separate living and dining areas, a wonderful fireplace, and the separate kitchen has more seating if required.

The chalet will also work well for families in the summer because of the outdoor space; there garden is 3000m2, (some of which is flat!) sheltered terraces, balconies, and the walk through the forest up to the plateau de Beauregard is just behind the chalet.

Free wifi, cleaning, towels & linen included.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
We require a security deposit of €1,000 via a pre-authentication of your credit or debit card, which does not affect your card balance. The pre-authentication will be released as soon as we’ve checked the property and confirmed there is no damage. This is normally done right after your stay, but it could take up to 14 days after your departure.

Wow.. What a place!

Wow.. What a place! We had the most wonderful week at La Grange à L’Ours and quite frankly, didn’t want to leave! The property has everything you could want and need for a home-from-home stay and the attention to detail was not only practical but also beautiful. The views from the property are outstanding and sitting out on the balcony in the mornings quickly became a routine to take in the beauty of the location. Steve was incredibly helpful and an asset to the whole trip. We would highly recommend the property and hope to visit again one day!!

Everything was perfect

We were 10 friends around the age of 30. And had a great time at the chalet and in the area. Unfortunately, at the beginning of January there was no snow or hardly any, but we were still able to pass the time great. The chalet was well equipped, all kitchen utensils were available, as well as entertainment in the living room. House and garden were neatly maintained. Steve the manager was always available at all times. It's worth the money! Thanks to OVO Network and see you next time.

Super séjour à Manigod

On a adoré notre séjour à La Grange à l’Ours. Le chalet est très grand, bien doté, le jacuzzi et le sauna étaient vraiment top. En plus, les pistes de ski sont à seulement 5 minutes en voiture. Le propriétaire était super sympathique. On recommande avec plaisir, nous ainsi que nos amis sommes restés très satisfaits de nos vacances.

Chalet tout confort, spacieux, avec une vue superbe. À 5 minutes en voiture de la station de Manigod et à quelques minutes d'un départ de randonnée. Il ne manque rien : des couettes aux bûches, des appareils à raclette à la chaise bébé, du baby-foot aux appareils de musculation, des jeux vidéo aux luges... sauf peut-être des barrières pour les escaliers et un presse-agrume pour le ti'punch. Steve, le manager, est très réactif et disponible. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour.

A great holiday experience that we would gladly repeat at any time

La Grange à l'Ours was a great holiday experience that we would gladly repeat at any time. The house was just perfect for our two families with kids and a dog. There is a lot of space in and outside the house, so everyone could retreat once in a while. We loved the wonderful view from the living room, the terrace and the balcony (great sunrises and sunsets). The sauna and jacuzzi were a big plus, too, especially on the colder days. During the days we explored the region which has a lot to offer and in the evenings, we appreciated the cozy sofas next to the log fire, and the kids loved the home cinema, too. The bed were comfortable (good linen) and the kitchen contained everything we needed for cooking fine meals with delicious local ingredients.
